• Delete, but I don't buy the nominator's rational. Per WP:LISTN: it is not a question of whether the individual list items are notable, but rather if the subject itself is notable (i.e. if the subject has been discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources). It appears more prominently in The Silmarillion and other minor, posthumous works that never received the same popular or critical acclaim.
