Non-notable awards shows. Have had unaddressed notability concerns since 2017. PROD of the 1st show was challenged in favour of fuller discussion as a set. I would consider this largely pro-forma as I have not looked into all of these. TheSandDoctor Talk 02:56, 29 October 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Comment If its not notable then you need to add Seiyu Awards and Seiyu Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, and then remove the category and subcategories in Category:Seiyu Awards. I have no idea if they are notable or not, someone who can search for Japanese sources would have to determine that. Dream Focus 13:59, 29 October 2020 (UTC) reply
I don't think we'd need to add the overarching article or category. The category is set up to cover the all-encompassing awards, not individual years. The overarching award (and the best lead actor) pages can be shown to be notable by looking at these pages. Out of the 14 pages, there are already 3 independent sources reporting on specific years: Famitsu, Anime News Network, and Crunchyroll. Other sources would include Anime! Anime! and Animate Times at the least (though some of these would be dupes of the English outlets. - 2pou ( talk) 20:39, 29 October 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Keep per WP:NOTPAPER since these greatly simplify reader navigation. As stated above, the overall awards are notable when stepping back and seeing the reporting on them year to year. In effect, the worst-case argument would be to delete individual years for failing to meet GNG, but if that is the case, what you end up with is everything has potential to be merged into the parent article because you would only need a single source to verify facts from a particular year of a notable award. This makes an extremely large, overbearing page that becomes difficult to navigate (see Audie Award or Eagle Award (comics) for example). Summary style WP:SPINOUTs greatly improve readablility.

Even if we single out the first award, Anime News Network also covered the those here, and prior to the winner announcements, Anime! Anime had this report.
Crunchyroll also covered 8-12 and 14, so I'd say keep those as well if forced to evaluate individually. Those satisfy me across the board to assume sources WP:NEXIST, but I don't have the energy to search translated pages for every year. If more sources are desired by others, though, here are some aids:
Search term: 声優アワード Find sources:  Google ( books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
And here are results to sort through from Anime! Anime! and Animate Times2pou ( talk) 20:39, 29 October 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Keep Places that cover anime news cover these awards, so they are a notable award. Dream Focus 21:27, 29 October 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Keep as the awards are notable as being covered by reliable sources, and as per WP:PAPER remerging all these into the parent article would oversize the page making loading difficult over low speed connections, imv Atlantic306 ( talk) 23:59, 1 November 2020 (UTC) reply
