Welcome to WikiProject Darts. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of
darts and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please
join the project, inquire on the
talk page and see the
to-do list below.
Goals
Write articles on:
Darts and its history, terminology, culture, techniques, equipment, variants, and other aspects
Notable darts players
Notable darts tournaments
Notable darts organisations
Notable dart games (cricket, 301, etc.) and their rules
Improve darts articles:
So they comply with Wikipedia policies and guidelines
This project is focused on darts, steel- and soft-tip, modern and historical, as a game and a sport. Also in-scope are articles on games derived from darts, such as darts
simulation games (also within the scope of
WP:WikiProject Video Games), as well as
lawn darts (which could also be within the scope of a future
WP:WikiProject Lawn Games).
Pub games more broadly are out-of-scope, as are larger-scale games/sports that are distantly historically related, such as
archery and
javelin toss.
Guidelines
The following is for help when creating or editing any type of darts articles, it includes information on how to write a good article with the correct layout, information, spelling, etc.

(Note: These guidelines are only for help when creating or fixing an article)
Darts articles are struggling with mutiple problems so why don't you adopt one (preferably a notable darts topic), you can adopt any sort of darts topic, player, tournament, organisation etc. The following are steps for adopting an article:
1. Put your name and the name of the article you are adopting in the list below
2. Put a tag beside it to show what stage you are at.
{{Doing}} — Doing... — If you are currently working on the article
{{n.b.}} — * — If you have a problem and need help, also state the problem you have
3. Put this on the talk page {{Maintained|~~~}} which will show that you are working on the article
4. Get to work!
5. When you are finished, you should get feedback here

C) - Will mainly for now just tweak current articles but I have created quite a lot of the articles from scratch and will have no problem creating more when the time arises
Falkybassist (
T •
C) - I'm more of a wikignome, but I'll edit things I know about
SMcCandlish (
T •
C) - I'm here mostly as a wikignome, and was responsible for a lot of earlier category cleanup and such. I won't be editing darts articles directly very much, but can help with project structure and templates, policy compliance and other geekwork; cf. my work at
WP:CUE
Mfb72 (

Seedybob2 (

I will also try to update player information, just as tournament progress, rankings, etc., as I go along. Further contribution from other members will be well appreciated.
Rocketmachine (

Oxygene7-13 - Dunno what exactly I'll be contributing but watching darts before Barney made his first appearance on the telly! (I'm Dutch by the way...)
Briancrowley12 - I love darts, playing it and watching it. I also love statistics of darts wether it’s averages or checkout percentages for example. I like adding in results to tournaments and player performances.
JRRobinson – I love doing articles on ALL things darts, mainly PDC tournaments and players who don't have pages. There needs to be parameters made on players, as so many are being deleted, when they shouldn't be.
GlenTheYid - I follow all of the PDC Tournaments (both televised and non). I have created
2022 PDC Players Championship 1 and I will be adding more when time permits.
XeverPL - Although I watch the tournaments of both federations (PDC and WDF), I am much more interested in the development of the World Darts Federation. For several months I have been trying to update and develop websites dedicated to WDF tournaments.
TheDugster100 - Darts enthusiast and regular contributor and updater of darts tournaments on Wikipedia
GalacticalCosmics - I fix, update or edit darts pages whenever I get spare time.
DarthBob - I am mainly trying to update Performance timelines on player's pages, I created PDC European Tour table for all possible Tour card holders and would like to continue with Players Championship performances (and World Series of Darts). If I see a player with incomplete results, I add them.
Szpity88 - I love statistics, mostly I want to edit results, and draw, qualifier winners, etc.
MaxLikesStuff - Started editing darts stats recently, gonna continue making sure everything is up to date!
Darts Rankings – Live player rankings*
Master caller – Historical data relating to all the early Embassy World Championships - the match statistics and prize money breakdowns are listed going right back to 1978 and all tournament averages could be input into BDO World Championships
