Wikipedia Introductory workshop was hosted on 3rd and 4th January 2015 in Nashik.

New city

Before hosting the workshop, E-Mail was circulated on India Mailing List as well as other social media platforms about local help in Nashik. We realized that the Wikimedia Community is active only in cities like Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore, etc.

Local leadership

Local Nashik community organized workshop under the leadership of Sunil Khandbahale and Vaishali Balajiwale.

Local support

• Kumbhathon Team managed local logistics and crowd management.
• Airtel sponsored 4G internet connection for two days.
• The Institute of Engineers (India) offered modern auditorium for free.

Participants

• 150 people participated in an introductory workshop.
