Suspected sockpuppets

This IP user just used Tor to continue a pattern of tendentious editing. I think it's clear it's the same user, and that they used Tor to try to avoid accountability per WP:LOUTSOCK. Contribs are brief and quacking. Clearly checkuser isn't needed, as it's a proxy. I have indeffed the previously-blocked proxy, but am asking an uninvolved admin to block the static IP sockmaster as I've been dealing with their disruptions on articles and talk before. Thanks.

IP 5.104.90.107: Blanking content on Indigenous Intellectual Property with edit summaries: " excessive examples; 4 is enough", " cut down", and tags for what they feel are too many examples: [1]. User has also attempted to avoid accountability by blanking talk warnings.

Proxy server 152.165.67.17: Blanking identical content on Indigenous Intellectual Property: [2]; when reverted tags article with edit summary: " tagged as possibly too many examples, and goes to talk to say, " I think that there is too much examples", as they did repeatedly under the main IP, unsuccessfully.

There are more diffs, such as edits on Cultural appropriation, but this should give the picture. - CorbieV 20:10, 20 May 2019 (UTC) reply

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims. @ CorbieVreccan: While it is true that all of the accounts/IP's listed here, are indeed me, this is not a case of deliberate sock puppetry. Since my IP would change whenever I went outside and used my cellular connection, I created the account SolarStorm1859 to in an attempt to keep all of my contributions in one place. I lost the password to that account shortly afterward hence this new one. I never tried to hide the fact that all of these contributions were from the same user. Also, the " tor proxy" that you blocked returns a negative according to an online check. Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments

  • I don't see anything blockworthy here, especially given the explanation provided. Could a clerk please move this to the name of the account rather than the IP so we can find this easily in the future and then close it. Thanks :) TonyBallioni ( talk) 13:57, 21 May 2019 (UTC) reply
