Sagaciousphil had reverted my changes changes twice (
1 and
2), and fortuitously for Sagaciousphil, "Eric Corbett" popped up and reverted it a third time within minutes. Eric Corbett had never edited that page so it seems unlikely it would be on his watchlist. Both left childish comments in the edit summary, with sagaciousphil
saying to not use "ugly infoboxes" and Eric Corbett
saying the article had "turned into an abortion." They have a number of overlapping edits that
seem rather coincidental and cannot be explained by close proximity (ie being from the same place), such as edits to
Bile Beans (an Australian laxative - both have more than 50 edits on this article)
Tengu (a creature found in Japanese mythology),
The Quarrel of Oberon and Titania (a painting),
Jonathan Tyers (18th-century business man),
Denison (name),
The Famous Five (series) (children's book),
Patent medicine, etc. This is just an amazing coincidence.

Wikimandia - This is very firmly in the don't be bloody stupid category, drifting towards absolutely do not try and use SPI or administrators to try and eliminate those you disagree with from arguments and discussions. These two editors are, without any doubt, two completely unconnected, distinct humans. Oh, and for the avoidance of doubt, Wikimandia, infoboxes are not compulsory and should not be edit warred over.

Nick When I see something suspicious I'm going to report it. If you or someone sees it as vindictive, I couldn't care less. NFG. I have no interest nor time to fabricate SPI for lulz.

Both editors edit within different time zones. (
Sagaciousphil,
Eric Corbett) In addition, the evidence presented does not suggest to me that they are related. I'm closing this case with no action taken. Mike V •
