Suspected sockpuppets

I saw that a certain page had been deleted and then recreated. The usernames are almost identical, and the 1st one has been blocked indefiantely, so I am requesting a Checkuser to look into this. Thank You! Electriccatfish2 ( talk) 21:17, 15 June 2012 (UTC) reply

No need for CU when it's as obvious as this. WilliamH ( talk) 21:21, 15 June 2012 (UTC) reply

I've never done one of these before so excuse my ignorance. The above user made a disruptive edit yesterday, and it was brought to my attention that they have used multiple accounts on the Serbian Wikipedia to do the same thing, except moving from account to account to avoid blocks (I think, I don't speak Serbian). The list of accounts they used to sock on that wiki can be found here. User:Kolega2357 was the one who brought this to my attention but they don't appear to speak very good English so I think they were hoping I would do this on their behalf. Thanking you in advance (even if it's just for your patience). Panyd The muffin is not subtle 13:19, 13 August 2012 (UTC) reply

  •  Additional information needed: We need at least one other suspected user account on the English Wikipedia to compare their actions. The purpose of a sockpuppet investigation is to find out whether different accounts are being operated by the same user, so allegations alone that Делија02 has been using multiple accounts elsewhere isn't proof enough that they've done this over here too. If you find one or more accounts whose problematic edits look suspiciously similar to those of Делија02, please list them above. Otherwise this case will be closed for lack of evidence. • Делија02 had also not been notified of this investigation as is required by policy. I've now left them a note on their talk page. De728631 ( talk) 14:11, 13 August 2012 (UTC) reply
      • I think it's best to close it then. Sorry I don't have more but the similar pattern of editing gave me a red flag. Will reopen if I spot a larger pattern. Thanks for looking. Panyd The muffin is not subtle 14:25, 13 August 2012 (UTC) reply

A previous report was opened today for Делија02 at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Делија02 which I closed for procedural reasons to have it reopened over here. The original complaint was [1]:

That list of Serbocroatian WP sockpuppets revealed a number of user names that can also be found here on the English Wikipedia, including Kimiczv02. Other similarities are a common interest of Делије са Севера, Mikidelija02, Miloscar02 and Делија02 in a seemingly non-existent footballer Milos Bozovic, an article that has been deleted as a hoax.
