Delete – Redirect created by a move that was quickly reverted. It is an implausible search term. McLerristarr |

Weak keep—while this isn't the most likely search term (how many people will type in the ™?), it appears harmless to me. Redirects are cheap. –Grondemar 16:53, 20 December 2010 (UTC)reply
Delete. Unlikely search item and a bad precedent. —

Delete. These redirects were created by a now banned user to link to sections of the main page. There are no incoming links. I fail to see how they would ever be useful. And the whole "MP:" pseudo-namespace (see
here) just seems completely unnecessary and over complicates things.

Comment –
MP: was not created by the banned user. The creator created it mimicking the others. McLerristarr |

Delete—while these are technically not cross-namespace redirects, I can't see how they would ever be useful. –Grondemar 23:30, 19 December 2010 (UTC)reply
Keep.Delete. (per Ϫ) I wouldn't be surprised if the first time these were added to the Main page as a {{shortcut}} (if ever), they were immediately rm'd because they would look a bit tacky. Toss 'em.
PS. Pulled "delete" because some editors find these useful; however, I wouldn't want them cluttering up the Main page. —

Keep. Well, *I* at least think they're useful pseudo-namespace shortcuts and use them occasionally. --
Ϫ 10:48, 24 December 2010 (UTC)reply
Then I am inclined to pull my Delete per
here, reason #2, and
here. Since as I noted above, they would probably look a bit tacky on the Mainpage, and since others cannot see any useful purpose, could you say a little more about how you use them?
Well, they have their uses in certain helpdesk situations. I've used
MP:OTD before to point users to that specific section on the main page, and to quickly link to it. I can't say I've used the others though. That's not to say a situation won't arise where I might want to point a user to another specific section on the mainpage, like Today's featured picture (MP:TFP) --
Ϫ 16:11, 29 December 2010 (UTC)reply
Keep: They are evidently used by at least a few people, harm nothing, and the fact that the user who created them was eventually banned for other reasons has nothing to do with anything (c.f.
Fallacy ad hominem). — SMcCandlishTalk⇒ ʕ(Õلō)ˀContribs. 19:45, 25 December 2010 (UTC)reply
Sorry, I realise it's irrelevant. It's just a number of people have complained before that I haven't informed creators of deletion discussions, so was just explaining why I hadn't on this occasion... Just to make clear, I wasn't citing that as a reason to delete. Sorry for any confusion.

Weak keep - I see no criteria to delete them, but anybody can click on the puzzle globe logo to go to the main page.

This article was most recently listed at AfD
last month. I was neutral on the discussion, but it resulted in a redirect to
Underneath the Stars (album). The problem with that is that that article is about an album by Kate Rusby, and the original article was about a song by Mariah Carey (I would include a diff but for some reason it isn't publicly viewable anymore; was it deleted and then recreated?). If anything, the redirect should be retargeted to
Daydream (Mariah Carey album). Erpert(let's talk about it) 08:18, 19 December 2010 (UTC)reply

Cross-namespace redirects. "H:" shortcuts which links to the "Wikipedia" namespace rather than "Help:". Though little used "H:" redirects are normally to the "Help:" namespace. I'm proposing delete.

Delete—unneeded cross-namespace redirect. Is it so much harder to type the "elp"? –Grondemar 23:33, 19 December 2010 (UTC)reply
Delete The nature of help pages becoming guidelines and vice versa means there are a fair few cross namespace redirects, in the case of these two there doesn't seem to be internal references from internal pages, so I can't see a problem with removing them.

Delete. Really unnecessary redirect. If anyone wants to use
Template:Ear, they can just put {{ear}} on the page, they don't have to put {{[[Template::T:Ear|:T:Ear]]}}. And if anyone wants to link to the template, it's easier to just to {{tl|ear}}

Created at the same time as
Transport in Round Maple which was deleted as a result of
WP:Redirects for discussion/Log/2010 December 9#Transport in Round Maple. Round Maple is a barely notable collection of houses (pop 20) on a country lane. It has no public transport. Redirects may be cheap but if we create a "Transport for ......." redirect for every group of dwellings in England (let alone the rest of the UK or world) it would rapidly become unmanageable.

Delete - oxymoron of a title which would set an unhelpful precedent if allowed to remain. The creator of this page has made over 40 redirects to this highly obscure settlement.

The relevant info being that there is no public transport or numbered road in the hamlet! Why have redirects for things that don't exist?
