Portal:Percy Jackson

not enough content to be necessary.

  • Delete - There is not enough content related to Percy Jackson for this to be necessary. PrincessofLlyr ( talk) 01:51, 23 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Delete per nom and because the subject matter is probably too narrow in focus for the material to expand to need a dedicated portal -- Jubilee♫ clipman 02:16, 23 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Weak delete but I'd wait a bit if anyone wants to work on it.  fetch comms 02:17, 23 March 2010 (UTC) reply
I'm part of the task force and I really don't think there will be enough content. Besides, the creator tagged with speedy now. PrincessofLlyr ( talk) 02:22, 23 March 2010 (UTC) reply
I have declined that speedy, and the creator has accepted my offer to help improve it. NERDYSCIENCEDUDE ( ✉ msgchanges) 03:37, 23 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Delete as there will not be enough content for a portal. Try maintaining Portal:Novels, which has a wider scope. Airplaneman talk 22:00, 23 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Delete as not having sufficient material for it to draw upon. Excluding redirects and project pages, there are only 32 pages within the relevant scope. Bramble claw x 22:14, 23 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Keep - I think the issue is not the whole portal, but some of the info for the portal. (pictures, news, projects) Said info exists in very scant amounts for this topic. This is a large series of novels, and if we can do this, The Percy Jackson series deserves a portal as well. MMS 2013 12:22, 25 March 2010 (UTC) reply
    • We don't have nearly as much info on this series. I would say it's about a third or half the size of HP, and I'm concerned that we will run out of information. Category:Percy Jackson and the Olympians has significantly less articles than Category:Harry Potter. Every Percy Jackson and the Olympians file I have come across is subject to free use policies and would not suit the "featured picture" section of the portal. — Air plane man— 02:23, 26 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Keep - I think that it could be good given time. Don't get rid of it yet but if it never improves then delete it. Rock drum ( talk· contribs· guestbook) 16:17, 25 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Neutral - It was a act of boldom.-- mono 23:50, 27 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Rather than outright deleting it, how about we move the portal to Mono's userspace or as a subpage of the Percy Jackson Task Force? NERDYSCIENCEDUDE ( ✉ messagechanges) 03:26, 30 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Userify - I agree with those who doubt there will ever be enough information to justify a whole Portal, but let's keep it for now as a draft and see if it can go anywhere. -- SJK ( talk) 09:38, 30 March 2010 (UTC) reply
  • I don't want it! If the project would like to keep it (which they don't seem to want to do), we could move it there.-- mono 00:39, 1 April 2010 (UTC) reply
  • The task force could probably take it. It's not that we don't want it, just that we don't think there's enough info to really need it. PrincessofLlyr ( talk) 02:13, 1 April 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Delete for lack of content to justify a portal. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • ( Many ottersOne batOne hammer) 20:08, 1 April 2010 (UTC) reply
  • Delete. The guideline for Portals is trhat they are only for major topic areas. Percy Jackson is not a major topic area. -- Alan Liefting ( talk) - 08:14, 2 April 2010 (UTC) reply
