Unforgetting L.A. at MOCA
Since July 2013, Unforgetting LA is a series of Wikipedia edit-a-thons to build a better online history of art in Southern California. We meet throughout the year at museums and art spaces around Los Angeles, including the
Getty Research Institute ,
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ,
LACMA , the
Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) , the
Hammer Museum , and the
California African American Museum . Beginners are welcome and training is offered at each meetup. Unforgetting L.A. is organized by the online art magazine
East of Borneo .
