Year of Science! For these events, participants must be either attendees at the AAAS conference, or experienced Wikimedians selected as moderators.

2016 AAAS conference at the
Marriott Wardman Park hotel in Washington, DC. Go to Hall C, head to the Social Media Space and watch out for Wikipedia logos near one of the corners.
What to bring
A laptop computer or tablet. We'll have WiFi.

Please sign up, either to edit or as a potential moderator (an experienced Wikipedian), here on the AAAS website. If you leave your username (or real name) below, that will be helpful too. This event is open to people of all experience levels.
While logged into your Wikipedia account, visit
the course dashboard and click "Join course" (under the Actions heading on the right sidebar). This permits identification of your Wikipedia edits.
Please add suggestions below. This list includes categories and lists to correct and build from, and Wikisource and Wikidata projects.
If create a new article over 1500 characters long (~3 paragraphs), or expand an existing one 5x in size, it may be eligible to appear on the
Main Page in the Did You Know section!
Feel free to start browsing article in your area of expertise, and if you see something that doesn't look quite right or is missing, fix it! (But remember to cite a reliable source!)
