- ...Under GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) I have the right to copy material. I am new to wikipedia editing and did not know the necessary procedures to assert that I have received permission from LA Freewaves to create a wikipedia page about the organization. Users involved insist on deleting the article and have nominated it two times. They have not attempted to tell me what text to revise, or how to make it fit the requirements. I believe this is a example of how administrators can abuse their powers and prevent the dissemination of valuable information, in my case, information of new media arts. I would like someone to intervene and aid me in revising the article as to prevent its deletion. Thank you.

While using the talk page of the article in question to solve a dispute is encouraged to involve a larger audience, feel free to discuss the case below if that is not possible. Other mediators are also encouraged to join in on the discussion as Wikipedia is based on consensus.
- Suggestion to mediator: Have LA Freewaves contact OTRS ( [1]) with a email granting permission to use said material on Wikipedia. LA Freewaves must release said material under the GFDL for it to be included. Thanks. ~Kylu ( u| t) 05:28, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- I was going to suggest that. :) This is not really an issue that the Mediation Cabal is suited to dealing. Someone with an email address ending in @freewaves.org needs to contact permissions at wikimedia dot org confirming that the text is released under the GFDL. However, for the purpose of this mediation case, I will consider it open and I am the cabalist responsible. Stifle ( talk) 22:14, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
