I'd like to get the numbers and associated lines removed from this drawing, so that it just shows the unadorned design of the auger. Thanks. --

Mike Christie I know this is a old archived post, but I created a retouched version of this file. If you're interested the file is
File:Brooks ice auger patent drawings 1932-retouched.png. No reply needed and if you prefer the other image that is ok with me, just getting some practice in since I'm a little rusty. -

Please improve illustration. Background should be white (or transparent). Like most
chess pieces (pawn, bishop, etc.) this piece is basically a
solid of revolution, with "notches" cut out near the top. Shading (as if illuminated from one side) might also help. Please keep the overall graphic square shaped; any file format is OK (.svg or .png for example). Thanks--

Resolved. I'm still drafting the text to add it to the article. I plan to use it within a few days. Thanks!--

Hi, can any illustrator draw a same size vector version of all these railway stations symbol (using the shape from the stations of Kawang, Kimanis, Kinarut, Papar and Putatan) with the white square background been replaced with a transparent background? The same goes to the (three stations which there is no images I can provide here). (ahh! I just realise they need to match the words length with the symbol, that is why some track symbol are much long in its size. Apologies for the mistake.) All these are licensed under the {{PD-textlogo}} and can be uploaded to
Wikimedia Commons. Thank you. --

Hi Mr.
Maproom, thanks for pointing that out. In a short explanation.. I mean the sign should just be like in this picture above (albeit with a transparent background and if the station name is long, they can widening the track symbol length). This applies to all the 15 stations according to their respective names.

Done and all the filenames are now correct.

I need an illustration similar to what appears
here, for the article
Gaussian Correlation Conjecture. Only the draw of the circle and the rectangel and the second 3-dimensional-like draw, without the text, please.

@
נחי: Could you be more clear about the part you are interested in? If I understand correctly you want the image of the darts hitting the circle and rectangle, and you want the square with the Gaussians of the weight and heights on the side. Is that correct? Also in the future could you follow the standard request template, thanks.

Auguel: You understand correctly. That's exacty what I'm interested in.
Thank you for pointing my attention to the template. I'm new here (in the english version of wikipedia).
נחי (

Ok this is what I have so far. Comments? Should I include the cluster of points on the plane? Should include the labels (e.g. "people with normal height", "people with normal weight", "people with normal height and weight") ?
Auguel (

If you could add the cluster of points that would be great. The lables are not needed.
The first illustrations with the darts need not be exactly the same as the original version; The darts can be simpler, as long as the notions of darts remained clear.

I want to caution you, in that I believe the combination of the 3D graphic of the Gaussian with a graphic of darts hitting a circle may be eligible for copyright. I thus advise you not to use both together on wikipedia, as quantamagazine may have a copyright claim on this combination.--

Superposition of signals: conceptual superposition of an impulsive thrust (red) and thermal drift (green) signal over an on/off power cycle on the torsion pendulum
Superposition of signals: test article run at 60 W in vacuum.
Can we stack these graphs ontop eachother into a single picture labeled fig 1. and fig 2. If possible would be great to vectorize image as well. Thanks!--

@
Sparkyscience: If i understand you correctly, you mean not superimposing them, but just putting one on top, and the other on the bottom, but in a single picture? This seems a strange idea to me. In what way does this an improve over just adding the two thumbs, as I have just done here (to the right)? I am genuinely at a loss.... Am I misunderstanding you?
