Replaced with a younger image of the artist at her easel. This is a less flattering image. Rather than edit war I bring this to FfD. So, I want to keep Photo of Laura Wheeler Waring.jpg in the article and delete Laura Wheeler Waring.jpg. Both are fair use images. WomenArtistUpdates ( talk) 00:28, 21 June 2022 (UTC) reply

  • Delete I uploaded this ten years ago. It wouldn't hurt to change it up. While the profile shot only captures half of her face, the depiction of her in her studio with her easel adds encyclopedic value. The CWHF website [1] also has a good image. It is possible that the last photo in this article, labeled "National Archives (HN-HNE-22-15)", is in the public domain. gobonobo + c 04:40, 21 June 2022 (UTC) reply

De-PRODded sample may not need a direct commentary to justify usage of the sample. However, the sample itself contains random segments of the song, making a reader wondering what the sample itself is about. I have wondered whether any sample is needed to help readers understand Levon (song). If so, then which specific segment? If not, then the sample itself would fail WP:NFCC, especially the "contextual significance" criterion. George Ho ( talk) 14:20, 21 June 2022 (UTC) reply

This doesn't look like it is eligible for copyright. It is only two letters and a line. I think it should be copied to Commons as {{ pd-textlogo}}. weeklyd3 ( message me | my contributions) 20:53, 21 June 2022 (UTC) reply

Probably doesn't qualify for fair use because we can easily make our own map. Ixfd64 ( talk) 22:42, 21 June 2022 (UTC) reply

  • Delete - the addition of the logos is decorative. A free equivalent without logos could be made that conveys the same information Whpq ( talk) 01:05, 23 June 2022 (UTC) reply
