I believe this image is a copyrighted author photograph which the uploader falsely claimed as their own. It is a low resolution image uploaded back in 2008. The uploader had another image of the same author which was previously deleted for being unfree. It included the same rationale, as does their upload of the author's signature. - Delete - Own work is very dubious. This archive of a Good Reads profile predates the upload and includes the image. The subject is deceased so there is a possibility of converting to non-free usage, however the subject is very recently deceased, and the possibility exists for a freely licensed image to be turned up. The subject was an author who did book signings. This image is an example and is almost free enough, but the non-commercial restriction makes it not quite free enough for Wikipedia. -- Whpq ( talk) 14:36, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
