  • This image was originally uploaded with a blank file description page. After ImageTaggingBot inserted {{ no copyright information}} the uploader followed the linked instructions from Wikipedia:Media copyright questions/Header to the letter and inserted {{ GFDL-self}} which was given as an example at the time.
  • The photo appears to be a scan of an old photo.
  • The setting suggests it was taken by a professional photographer, possibly for a passport or other identification purposes.
  • This is the only upload from this user.
  • The uploader is an " Undergraduate Student, Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, India" and they "started this project considering the noteworthy work subject has done in the field of Psychotherapy, particularly in India. After getting an idea about the extent of work he has done in the concerned field, I felt the need to bring his contributions to light by including on an encyclopaedia." So how can they be the author of an older scanned photo if they didn't know him before?
  • It was processed by both Picasa (possibly downloaded from Picasa Web Albums?) and Windows Photo Viewer. — Alexis Jazz ( talk or ping me) 02:26, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply

" Yo, thanks for your query. Fundamentally I'm wary of relicensing this photo as CC as neither I nor the original photographer wanted it being used willynilly outside of Wikipedia, and GFDL seemed the best bet for that." Very low resolution (300×162px, 8 KB). Is this uploader's self-photographed image or is this just grabbed somewhere from the Internet or social media? JWilz12345 ( Talk| Contrib's.) 05:58, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply

Only hint the uploader left about this image is the name in the filename, "Habibullah Rahimi". It was presumably(?) uploaded for Draft:Habibullah Rahimi which was deleted by Edgar181. Google doesn't return anything too useful about who this man might be and I can't read the draft. I have doubts about the license anyway, the uploader inserted GFDL-self by following the instructions ImageTaggingBot put on the page to the letter and it's their only upload. — Alexis Jazz ( talk or ping me) 07:38, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply

  • Salavat, Cyrus Farzad responded at File talk:Habibullah Rahimi.jpg: Hello, I have upload this photo from an Afghan Movie actor based in afghanistan and I have clicked with my own camera which was canon but when I create a page/topic it was not approved due to lack of resources in English language so you can delete it. Thanks Maybe worth it for Commons if relicensed in that case. Cyrus Farzad, do you have a link for his movie career? — Alexis Jazz ( talk or ping me) 16:00, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply
  • The uploader has relicensed the photo as CC BY-SA 4.0 and stated specifically to be the photographer, so license-wise it is fit for Commons now. If the actor has starred in anything noteworthy it may be useful for Wikidata. — Alexis Jazz ( talk or ping me) 16:37, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Red X I withdraw my nomination (if I'm not allowed to withdraw I vote keep) Fardin Khan is the stage name of Habibullah Rahimi and he was interviewed by Ayna TV which is on its own likely enough for Commons, and the license now allows the file to be exported. — Alexis Jazz ( talk or ping me) 16:59, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply

Per Fastily on Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2017 August 20#File:Maria Belakhova.jpeg: Leonid Belakhov looks like roughly the same age here as on the 1938 Return of the North Pole expedition photo. Assuming the uploader was 18 when they took the photo (that's very optimistic), they were over 90 years old when they uploaded it. And the uploader lives in Massachusetts, USA. But Leonid was a senior Soviet administrator. Must've been hard getting a green card if you used to take photos of Soviet administrators? — Alexis Jazz ( talk or ping me) 09:38, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply

Fails WP:NFCC#1 and WP:NFCC#8 regarding replacability and contextual significance, given the first edition cover of the novel would serve the same purpose. Not used in infobox anyways. P,TO 19104 ( talk) ( contribs) 20:53, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply

A static image is preferred to an animation per WP:IUP#ANIM, especially when the file in question is a non-free content, where using a single frame would be sufficient to illustrate the gameplay ( WP:NFCC#3). Wcam ( talk) 20:59, 26 May 2021 (UTC) reply
