Princess Janay (
talk·contribs) I have been a user on Wikipedia since January 12th, 2008; I do not, however, consider myself a
newbie. I have watched Wikipedia for a while, and I sort of know the drill, even though I didn't sign up then. I would like a review, because I 1) just want to know how I'm editing, and 2) I aspire to become an admin someday.
Listen to your Princess, dear Wikipedians. (

Hi there Princess Janay. Good work on the
Fly Fusion Pentop Computer, I can see you worked hard on that. You've provided sources to back up the information, which is very good, but you need to use in-text citations, that is, putting your sources in the "<ref>Insert footnote text here</ref>" format. How to do this is explained at
Wikipedia:Citing sources. Your contributions to
Virtual Magic Kingdom are also good. I see an Ip blanked the page
here, the thing to do is click the "History" tab, look for the most recent edit, and simply click
undo. You don't need to rewrite the entire article from scratch.
You only use edit summarys about half of the time. While it's not compulsory, many users find it helpful to know the nature of your edit without having to delve into the history each time. It is also a must if you are planning to become an admin. Try to be concise and informative, for example for example
here where you used the edit summary well. You might like to check "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" in
Special:Preferences under the "Editing" tab to remind you.
For small edits such as
this you might like to check the "minor" tab, which signifies that only small changes such as typo corrections, formatting and presentational changes, etc have been made. This helps
Recent changes patrollers as some editors choose to ignore minor edits when reviewing for vandalism.
You noted that you want to become an admin someday. Things to do which will help you when you decide to apply are, build up your mainspace edits, comment on a few
articles for deletion and get involved with a few
of these.
Hope this helps. Happy editing!

Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Yes, I have been in 1 conflict. It was with an admin(will get username later), and he deleted an article that I was creating for a barnstar (the article was
Cure),and he deleted it, because "Wikipedia is not a dictionary"; even though I clearly explained that it was for a barnstar. Thankfully, I've never been blocked before, and I don't intend to be.
