Nominator's rationale: There is little need for a category for only two articles, but if it is moved to be about the whole work there are far more articles to be categorized. ★Trekker ( talk) 20:12, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: merge per WP:SMALLCAT, just one, two or three articles in each of these categories and they are not part of a large overall accepted sub-categorization scheme. Note that these people were almost without exception not notable as a mayor but rather as a national politician. Marcocapelle ( talk) 10:07, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Dual Upmerge All While these locations obviously had other mayors, most from small places will never become notable enough for a Wikipedia article. If any ever reach 5 articles, by all means, recreate. RevelationDirect ( talk) 10:23, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: Common term in Michigan is "ballot proposals", not "ballot measures" - should match naming with subcategories and articles. Elliot321 ( talk | contribs) 09:26, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Comment The article contents of this category are overwhelmingly "proposals" as the nominator points out with no "measures". This is part of a larger category tree ( Category:Ballot measures by state) and, even in other states like Category:Montana ballot measures that also has no "measure" articles, we're using "measures" across the board. This is probably a long way of saying I'm neutral because I'm torn between WP:C2C and WP:C2D. RevelationDirect ( talk) 10:35, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was: delete. MER-C 18:49, 14 November 2020 (UTC) reply
Nominator's rationale: delete per WP:OVERLAPCAT, these are church buildings already categorized in e.g. Category:Roman Catholic churches completed in 1657. If these categories became fully populated, they would entirely coincide with Category:17th-century Roman Catholic church buildings etc. Marcocapelle ( talk) 09:17, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Delete -- Congregations generally do not exist distinct from the churches in which they worship. Ideally one would merge, but I guess most will already be in the appropriate target or a subcat. I found one article that was a religious order, not a church. Peterkingiron ( talk) 15:54, 8 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Delete These articles on church buildings, not "congegations". Do we even have an article specifically about a congregation? Dimadick ( talk) 17:28, 8 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Delete the alleged reasons above have convinced me. -- Just N. ( talk) 18:35, 9 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Delete. These categories are a complete misunderstanding. Catholic congregations are large monastic-style organizations, see articles Religious congregation and Congregation (group of houses), or administrative bodies of the Roman Curia, see Congregation (Roman Curia). The local church-level structure that could be most comparable to what Protestant congretionalists call a "congregation" would maybe be a parish. Local parishes are hiwever very rarely notable by themselves, although we have Category:Parishes in the Catholic Church. Note that parent Category:Catholic congregations may also be deleted, and that Category:Anglican congregations may be renamed to sth like Category:Anglican parishes, because I believe that Anglicans also use the words congregation vs. parish with a similar meaning. Nominator's rationale: WP:OCAWARD ( WP:NONDEFINING)
According to the header of the category, "This category lists Recipients of the SLIA Gold Medal from the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects." It's telling that both of those are redlinks and, within all three articles, the award is mentioned with passing and does not seem defining. Normally I suggest listifying these awards but, since no main article exists, I copied the current contents here so no work is lost if anyone wants to start one. - RevelationDirect ( talk) 01:29, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: WP:OCAWARD ( WP:NONDEFINING)
The Chicago based Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat gives out annual CTBUH Skyscraper Award. Buildings like Taipei 101, Cayan Tower, One World Trade Center and Burj Khalifa tend to mention the organization, especially in the citations, but not the award so it doesn't seem defining. The contents are already listified here in the main article for any reader interested in the topic. - RevelationDirect ( talk) 01:29, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was: merge/rename as nominated. – Fayenatic London 21:06, 15 November 2020 (UTC) reply
Nominator's rationale: I wasn't sure if this was a simple case for speedy renaming, so I'm bringing these to CfD. Crazy Loop redirects to Dan Balan as this appears to just be a side project for Balan. That doesn't require a separate category. Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars Talk to me 01:17, 7 November 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Merge per nom "Crazy Loop" is just a stage persona of Dan Balan, not a different musician or a band. Per the main article: "These shifts led him to decide to release the music under the stage name Crazy Loop, an alter ego that contrasted with his real personality."
