Horrible promotional dreck from the day of its creation. Even now has unsourced promotional claims and just bizarre unsourced claims about a putative chinese name. There probably could be an article per PROF but it would need to be re-generated from scratch. Speedy was declined for reasons I cannot understand; you can see the declining edit note in the history - I cannot link the diff because it has been erased as part of a revdel to clean up copyvio that existed even at that time. This needs to go. Jytdog ( talk) 15:05, 11 March 2018 (UTC) reply

Keep. Notable in Israeli academic and business world who has published widely. Added some sources, reorganized page. Better references can be easily found. No reason that I can see to delete.-- Geewhiz ( talk) 06:37, 12 March 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Delete. Sivan's citation record in Google scholar (single-digit h-index and only two-digit citation counts) is far from enough for WP:PROF#C1 in a high-citation subject. "President of the Israel Internet Association" sounds impressive, and despite our poor sourcing of its article the association is notable as the manager of a country-level TLD, but it's an industry organization, not a "major academic institution or major academic society", so it's not enough for WP:PROF#C6 and not a position of automatic notability. That means we have to resort to WP:GNG for his work with the association, or as a businessperson. The JPost article is by Sivan, not about him, and the Times of Israel piece (the one that verifies his presidency) only quotes him rather than having any in-depth content about him. None of the other sources currently look suitable for WP:GNG, and searching didn't find anything better. So, on the whole I agree with the nominator: this is just badly sourced promotion for a not-particularly-notable businessperson, passing neither WP:PROF nor WP:GNG. — David Eppstein ( talk) 20:39, 13 March 2018 (UTC) reply

  • Delete: bio spam on an non-notable individual. Does not meet WP:PROF and there's nothing better. K.e.coffman ( talk) 23:00, 25 March 2018 (UTC) reply
