Overly wordy article for what appears to be a very regional phenomenon. Only RS is the Oregonian article, cited a half-dozen times. Rest are trivial mentions or non RS. Nothing found for this individual, only for the phase. Oaktree b ( talk) 04:07, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

- Keep. The citations already in the article are from such reliable sources as Willamette Week, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Portland Mercury, Hyperallergic, Portland Monthly, The Oregonian, Oregon Arts Watch, and The Daily Beast (I know in some cases this last one may not be a reliable source, but since here it's a profile of the subject I accept it as proof of notability). In addition, there's also in-depth coverage of the subject on KGW ( link), WNYC ( link), The Portland State Vanguard ( link), Here Magazine ( link), The Rumpus ( link), Bust Magazine ( link) Brunch Magazine ( link) and other places. And while Liv Osthus may indeed be a regional phenomenon, all of those sources are detailed examinations of her work, art and life, not trivial mentions. There's also a well-received documentary about her. Yes, the article needs works, including cleaning up the citations. However that's not a reason to delete. Per WP:ARTIST, this subject's work has "won significant critical attention" and so meets our notability guidelines.-- SouthernNights ( talk) 12:01, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
