The son of the subject is slated to become the next CJI of the Supreme Court of India. However, there are no independent media reports to substantiate notability. Done a WP:BEFORE and found mentions of subject's name in articles about his son. VV 08:13, 16 August 2022 (UTC) reply

  • Delete per nomination. Yes, there are only mentions of his names, nothing in depth. Ratekreel ( talk) 13:22, 17 August 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Do not delete. I have additional information from reputed journals to substantiate its notability. Mohit Singh ( talk) 19:46, 17 August 2022 (UTC) reply
    • I had a look at the references and none of them constitute WP:SIGCOV either individually or together. They make some passing references that the subject is the father of the next CJI. VV 07:19, 20 August 2022 (UTC) reply
