- Delete. Mebane NC is not a global city for the purposes of securing the "inherent" notability of its municipal councillors, but this article neither suggests that he has any preexisting notability for other reasons (e.g. having previously held a more notable political office) nor demonstrates the depth of reliable source coverage about him that it would take to deem him a special case of significantly greater notability than the norm for smalltown municipal councillors.
