Delete: Zero sourcing for Mr. Bush, but I swear we've had an AfD for the NBA coffee company in the past... Regardless, there is no sourcing in the article we can use now, it's all PR items or simple confirmation of financing or positions held, with nothing extensive used as sourcing. Delete for a lack of sourcing, non-RS used and none found otherwise.

Keep: There is coverage in major news outlets including
CNN,
Bloomberg,
Fox,
LA Times and
CNBC. These sources are all considered reliable on Wikipedia and are in the article. This should be enough for Bush to be considered notable according to Wikipedia rules. The most notable thing is that he's the co-founder and CEO of the Mutombo Coffee brand with NBA Hall of Famer
Dikembe Mutombo. He was also the Managing Director of the investment company of
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashad al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of the UAE and this can be verified directly in available UAE government sources. Additionally, he's the co-Founder of Marco polo network which was one of the first distributed ledger technology-powered platform designed to provide digital trade and payment services to the emerging markets. That is why it was bought by the World Bank.

Atonvera, you will want to review the provisions of
WP:SIGCOV, which holds that "significant coverage" must addresses the subject directly and in detail. Mere namedrops or one-sentence mentions don't qualify, even if they come from CNN or the Los Angeles Times. Items that are press releases are explicitly excluded. Interviews with the subject are explicitly excluded.
Notability based on being connected with a notable subject is explicitly disallowed. Being the co-founder of something, even if that something is notable in its own right, does not in of itself qualify.

He was also the the first black president of the student body at
Amherst College and also served as Managing director, foreign investment and private equity advisor to Istithmar PJSC, an investment firm owned by the Dubai government. Don't you think being an opinion writer for Forbes is noteworthy?

He also
spoke in front of thousands of people right before the Mayor of New Orleans.

Delete: I agree with Oaktree b that the provided sourcing is a bunch of press releases, primary sources, namedrops and casual mentions, nothing which meets the standards of
WP:SIGCOVto the subject. Ravenswing 14:59, 9 March 2024 (UTC)reply
Delete – fails notability guidelines; sources in the article are either unreliable or does not address the subject in details or is significantly covered. No reliable sources online. Also noting the
WP:CITEBOMB supporting certain citations.
