Not notable. Online searches have found no sources independent of the subject of the article. Article history shows no substantial changes or edits by anyone other than the article's creator. - KEEP He is a bestselling writer. Did anyone who read what he has accomplished listed in the Huffington Post [4] doubt he is notable? Dream Focus 18:59, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
- Comments. Without taking sides, an online search would be difficult for a newbie much less a teacher with two graduate degrees and 12 years' experience on Wikipedia; in addition to several other Rick Smiths on Wikipedia, there's the Axon guy, a baseball player, and a police chief with the same name. - Comment WP:AUTHOR I cannot confirm where he was a bestselling author. It matters. It is a claim repeated, however it was not NY Times. So not sure it confers notability.
