Not seeing any real notability here, certainly none that is sourced. Slatersteven ( talk) 08:25, 26 March 2018 (UTC) reply

This comment is quick off the mark! I put the text and links in first, saved it, then immediately added the references. I will add all the links to this page from other pages tomorrow (Martineau is mentioned in various places). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sperth ( talkcontribs) 09:27, 26 March 2018 (UTC) reply

  • Keep -- A clear case. The refs already in the article establish notability. See esp.Gentleman’s Magazine and the two obits. You can see what these are about via this GBooks search. 192.160.216.52 ( talk) 14:30, 26 March 2018 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. Gentleman's Magazine is a optimum source for notability within its scope, essentially with the importance later possessed by The Times. A full article there is sufficient for notability . There were even more famous members of his family, but he is unambiguously notable . DGG ( talk ) 01:13, 27 March 2018 (UTC) reply
It's not a full article, its an Obit of two paragraphs. Slatersteven ( talk) 08:12, 27 March 2018 (UTC) reply
