- Weak keep. I cleaned up the page a little. I think he passes WP:PROF#C1, but it's a high-citation field, most of his papers have many coauthors, and I couldn't find much about him. — David Eppstein ( talk) 17:56, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
- Comment. General newspapers were of little help, most hits are for Per Osland the swimmer and swimming coach.
Per Osland's CV shows that he among others is a fellow of Norway's second-most important learned society,
DKNVS.
