  • Keep. The subject is clearly notable. This is not a borderline case. Eastmain ( talkcontribs) 13:10, 19 July 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. Not borderline. h-index of 54 passes NPROF#1. Humboldt Prize award and distinguished professor tick additional NPROF boxes.-- Eostrix  ( 🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 13:14, 19 July 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. per Eastmain and Eostrix. but major overhaul / WP:TNT is required. -- hroest 14:32, 19 July 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. It is perhaps relevant to note that the nominator claims to be working for Stark and recently made large promotional edits to Stark's article, stating that they were at Stark's direct request, that were removed and suppressed as a copyvio. This appears to be a case of "if I can't directly write the article about me then it shouldn't exist". That's not how Wikipedia works. However, as hroest has noted, the promotional pattern of editing means that both cleanup and continued attention are likely needed. — David Eppstein ( talk) 16:12, 19 July 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Keep Passing multiple criteria of WP:PROF and probably also WP:AUTHOR (The Migration of Labor has at least 4 reviews on JSTOR and Altruism and Beyond has at least 9) means that isn't the kind of borderline case where the subject requesting deletion applies. I could see the case for cutting most of the "Research" section, as it's sourced to Stark's own papers without much third-party perspective on which publications of his have actually been the most important, but we don't need to detonate the whole page to fix that. • Keep for reasons above but cut Research section down by 75%. Xxanthippe ( talk) 22:40, 19 July 2021 (UTC). reply
I just cut it down significantly. XOR'easter ( talk) 23:43, 19 July 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Keep: meets WP:PROF per Oded's h-index and academic awards. The article also passes WP:AUTHOR based on the multiple scholarly reviews of his books. TJMSmith ( talk) 02:23, 21 July 2021 (UTC) reply
