Keep. Has received plenty of coverage in Romania, where he is evidently a big star. --

The
burden of proving that statement lies on you. Please show us the sources that led you to this conclusion if you want your assertion to be accepted. -

These sources, which I found using Google, and the size of a newspaper's sheets doesn't necessarily have a bearing on reliability:

Other than that, you've brought in a couple of pieces from Realitatea Românească, an online-only publication almost as bad as Libertatea. One of these is a
brief puff piece ("Don't miss the interview and keep your eyes peeled to the Music Channel to see Morris's new exclusive clip!"), while another is
a bit of crystal-balling ("Marius Iancu, alias Morris, a future hit-maker on the music scene").
Finally, we have an
irrelevant piece from the Italian spinoff of Adevărul. While Adevărul itself is highly respected, it does not necessarily follow that every bit of content in every one of its subdivisions is quotable. Certainly a piece that is reminiscent of a blog post, entitled "Look what the stars are doing for Valentine's Day!", and barely mentions Morris, does nothing to advance a claim of notability on his part.
I have yet to see significant coverage of the subject in reliable publications, or any evidence he passes
WP:MUSIC. The latest attempt fails to establish notability. -
BiruitorulTalk 06:22, 7 July 2012 (UTC)reply
Weak delete Although he passes WP: MUSIC, regretfully, he fails WP: GNG, as the 2 sources are unreliable.

Comment, regarding the weak delete above, as I understand it only passing one notability guideline is necessary.

I believe that's true, but let's also note that Electriccatfish2 did not say how the subject passes WP:MUSIC, nor did he point to reliable sources establishing the fact, so the comment (as of now) is of limited value. It would be useful if he could expand on his remark to address these issues. -

Keep nominated and winner of Romanian Top Hits Awards (
WP:MUSICBIO#8) + coverage on reliable secondary sources. Despite the nominator's POV about these sources there is no minimal evidence all these newspapers are unreliable and unsuitable, and looking at other nominator's AfDs it seems he has a
WP:POINT about any kind of source provided in support of the notability of his deletion-targets.

Like I said at the other AfD where you've issued a similar allegation, do start an RfC on my conduct if you so wish; I will gladly defend my record.
Yes, a
blog post with a two-line mention of what Morris will be doing on Valentine's Day is irrelevant.
Do show us the sources confirming receipt of the award, do explain why the award is relevant, do show us the "coverage on reliable secondary sources" you speak of, do stop throwing around unseemly accusations of POV and POINT and do try to have a civil discussion. -
BiruitorulTalk 22:57, 16 July 2012 (UTC)reply
Here a list of the winners,
here a TV-report about the ceremony.
Here 74 news articles in support of the notability of the award. The Romanian WP article refers to it as "the most important musical event taking place in Romania".

For one, "what ro.wiki says" is irrelevant, given that we base our articles on secondary sources, not other wikis. For another,
this is a blog post,
this is pretty low-level too, as well as being barest passing mention. And
this? Come, now.
Given that there are essentially no reliable sources on Morris, even if he does possibly fit one or two criteria, the fact that one can't really say anything substantive on him means that at best, we ought to redirect to
Romanian Top Hits Awards (should that actually be demonstrated as notable) or
End-Year Chart 2010 (Romania). There's not enough here to justify more. -
BiruitorulTalk 22:00, 18 July 2012 (UTC)reply
Just for info,
this site is the website of the company (Media Forest Research Company) which officially compiles Romanian charts.
this is not a blog, at least if you does not proves otherwise, and however the list is avalaible elsewhere (
you can choose between over 14.000 sites, and this is just a possible search key for the list). It is clear Morris passes MUSICBIO, and your arguments does not even seem questioning this evidence on the merits. So...

I don't have the wherewithal to launch an SPI, but let me observe that
Madmans stone, like earlier incarnations
Ondskan2 and
Redroom2, is a sockpuppet of banned
User:Anittas. (Note the pattern of stalking me, Dahn and Anonimu.) Striking his two vote here seems advisable. -
BiruitorulTalk 20:59, 18 July 2012 (UTC)reply
Where do you see two of my votes? Are you seeing double again? Lay of the scotch, dude. And also, this is not the first time you run to Dahn in order to get his attention on matters that you find disturbing. It seems the only value you put on your friendship with Dahn is to have him support your agendas. In a way, I sort of like the way you go about when you start presenting your cases to him. You do it in such a stylish and sneaky way! First you sympathize with Dahn over the great hardships that he must endure on Wikipedia. (Indeed, poor Dahn is a victim to my instigation and the stupidity of editors.) But then you offer him a remedy. 'Hold on, Dahn,' you would be saying, 'Biruitorul is here; and together we will prevail!' And then you refer him to all kind of links. Now, is this what you want to start an SPI for? Oh, no, not an SPI! Anything but an SPI! Have a good day, Beer! --
