On 1967 topo as a railroad junction leading to Kempton, MD and no one living nearby. Closest scattered homes are in MD (none in WV), and zero newspapers.com hits. Another GNIS misclassification failure and a failure to fact-check and find coverage before creating article.

Yes, A "PLACE"!!! The same list with "Kanawha & Michigan Junction", both a Kanawha Siding and Kanawha Station in addition to Kanawha, Karl Siding at Karl, Katy Station at Katy, the
Kaymoor No. 1 Mine at Kaymoor, whatever the Keeptryst Furnace is, Kegley Station at Kegley, Kenton Furnace at Kenton, Kilsythe Junction at Kilsythe, Klondike Mine at Klondike, and of course a Kempton Station in addition to our junction. Not sure what the dates are supposed to mean – the spur line from this junction ceased operations
in 1968; excellent investigating here...

Delete, Reywas's arguments are sound as it appears to have no proper third party assertion of significance. --

Delete Kempton Junction itself doesn't appear to be anything more than a railroad junction, no sign that it meets GEOLAND.
Kempton, Maryland (the old mining town at the end of the spur) has a decent amount of coverage, however it's not the same place and would need to be created as a separate article. –
