The result was Speedy keep (NAC). Closing this because the nominator has withdrawn the nomination, AND nobody else has argued in favor of deleting, as outlined at

Speedy Keep. Schappert has received the
Carnegie Medal, and has been discussed significantly for his teenage heroics saving a drowning man from the icy water, as AOPA's flight instructor of the year, for his books, videos, film, and for his innovative M0A flight school. The article certainly needs work, but the subject has received several national awards and much significant regional coverage. Plenty to qualify on gng.

Keep Kudos to JaconaFrere for taking the time, doing the research, expanding the article and adding the reliable and verifiable sources necessary to establish notability.

If we're passing compliments around, kudos to Alansohn for assuming good faith. I'd also like to thank John and Sam for all of their efforts; although I disagree with them on this article, they've both been very helpful to me in learning how to successfully edit Wikipedia, with the exception of articles that are associated with New Jersey. Thanks y'all!
