The result was keep. Consensus is that the added sources show notability. -- Patar knight - chat/ contributions 10:03, 8 January 2023 (UTC) reply

Fails WP:GNG. The sources given are not reliable and independent. Kadı Message 08:40, 1 January 2023 (UTC) reply

  • Keep A quick google scholar search shows a healthy amount of significant coverage from reliable sources. The article certainly passes GNG. GoldMiner24  Talk 10:03, 1 January 2023 (UTC) reply

  • This is certainly a nomination that requires an in-depth assessment. Firat News Agency, cited twice in the article, is essentially linked with the PKK and cannot be considered independent coverage. There are multiple academic sources that mention her (28 hits on Google Scholar) but these generally seem to be fleeting mentions that very briefly recap on the manner of her death but don't really discuss her life/legacy in a manner that would be in keeping with WP:SIGCOV. I'm hoping to follow with a more detailed assessment, am leaning delete currently, but am open to evaluating sources if they are presented here. -- GGT ( talk) 23:24, 1 January 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. She is mentioned in the following book, which talks about a film that was made about her by established film maker Halil Uysal. That solidly demonstrates notability to me: Kurdish Documentary Cinema in Turkey: The Politics and Aesthetics of Identity and Resistance. (2016). United Kingdom: Cambridge Scholars Publishing. • Keep: This article needs clean up, but she clearly meets WP:GNG by doing a simple google books search. There are many RS citations available to add here. I had added a few today. PigeonChickenFish ( talk) 23:27, 2 January 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep: Easily passes GNG. Paradise Chronicle ( talk) 23:51, 2 January 2023 (UTC) reply
@ CT55555, @ PigeonChickenFish @ Paradise Chronicle: Did you read @ GGT's argument? Most of the sources are not independent. Kadı Message 14:30, 4 January 2023 (UTC) reply
GGT's message was posted before mine and I read it before reaching my own conclusion, which I shared above. CT55555( talk) 14:41, 4 January 2023 (UTC) reply
@ Kadı:, GGT The one source Firat News Agency is not independent, and I agree. There are many new sources added now, which are independent and fulfill RS, some even go in depth with full biographical details. PigeonChickenFish ( talk) 22:13, 4 January 2023 (UTC) reply
I also saw the reply by GGT but also the reply and edits by CT55555 and PCF. She is described in multiple reliable sources and a feature length movie was made about her. Easily passes GNG.13:06, 5 January 2023 (UTC) Paradise Chronicle ( talk) 13:06, 5 January 2023 (UTC) reply
