This isn't really a valid disambiguation page, since neither of the articles claim to be called "Florida school shooting", nor do news sources refer to them as such. Could be converted to a redirect to List of school shootings in the United States (there isn't a List of school shootings in Florida), though I'm not sure how useful that would be. ansh 666 06:19, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

- Comment I like Ansh666's proposal of a redirect, the present nation-based list linked is organized by decade, it would be interesting to see an alternative organization into smaller lists on a state-by-state basis. I'm counting 28 examples right now on the present list. What number would be a good minimum to set for when we should give a state a page? ScratchMarshall ( talk) 07:30, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment These days it's actually organised by 5-year periods, which is depressing, but in any case I agree. There probably are enough to also disambiguate by State - and this could be a starting one, but if it's going to do it, then it needs to do it properly.
- If we do take that approach, then there's no fundamental reason to delete the page, even though it clearly isn't serving its purpose atm - the name etc is fine. Nosebagbear ( talk) 09:44, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

Stoneman Douglas High School shooting would make sense, at least in the short term, but
List of school shootings in the United States would also get most people typing this to where they want to go, i.e., they'll scroll to the bottom to see the latest massacres that they are probably looking for.--

- Regarding Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, it really wouldn't. When I started the nomination, almost all search results for "Florida school shooting" were for a different event, the Forest High School shooting. ansh 666 19:32, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
