WP:NHOCKEY, but
WP:GNG supersedes that and it was plainly shown at the last AfD of this article that he meets GNG. –

Delete the claim that Toews passes GNG is passed on a flaed understanding of GNG.

Keep Perhaps flaed, but the arguments of the last AFD are persuasive enough. In particular
this from the winnipeg free press, and
this from USA today. The USA today article could be seen as routine coverage of a player opting to sign, however national american coverage of a guy choosing to go to college is very unusual and therefore, I believe, notable.

Keep GNG was completely shown to be met on the last Afd so failing NHOCKEY doesn't matter. -
