The result was Speedy delete (CSD A7). I don't agree with the statement below "Many unsourced claims of notability ... so cannot be speedy deleted". The speedy deletion criterion A7 states "The criterion does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source". The word credible is included precisely to exclude cases like this one. This is clearly a vanity page, with spurious and non-credible claims of significance because the first version of the article was deleted for lack of such claims. The idea that he could have been chosen for, amongst other things, the 2012 Olympic team, and yet appear nowhere on the internet except Facebook etc, is not remotely credible.
