Article created by a COI editor, unelected candidate who ran for office, does not meet
WP:NPOL and nothing in article appears to suggest he meets

Delete unelected state senate candidates are not notable. On the other hand we should have an article on
Michael V. Lee, but I am not holding my breath. If he was a Democrat it would be created in a heart beat, but articles on Republicans are much slower to materialize.

Delete single failed candidacy, no other notability apparent.

Delete. A person does not get a Wikipedia article just for being a non-winning candidate for election to a state legislature — if you cannot make and properly source a credible claim that he already had preexisting notability for other reasons independent of his candidacy, then he has to win the election, not just run in it, to become notable because of the election campaign per se. His can be mentioned in the relevant articles, but there's no reason for us to maintain biographical information about him beyond his name and vote total.
