Currently fails WP:GNG with fewer than two secondary sources: sources given are a social media site, a performance listing, a single review, a broken (?) search result link and one WP:NEWSPRIMARY interview. McGeddon ( talk) 09:42, 1 July 2015 (UTC) reply

  • Keep – Meets WP:BASIC as per sources found thus far, albeit on the weak side. Source examples include [1], [2], [3] (five-minute news broadcast video), [4] (short article). North America 1000 01:29, 2 July 2015 (UTC) reply
  • Keep - I will work on and include more links on his page. He is a very well known South African artists with most link probably ending in a co.za. He has released two books and performs to packed theatre's. The page needs to be updated - I will see how I could assist — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hypn1969 ( talkcontribs) 11:34, 3 July 2015 (UTC) Hypn1969 ( talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. reply
  • Delete - User:Hypn1969 is the subject of the article, and the creator gives the impression of being a publicist with an undeclared interest. Deb ( talk) 16:54, 4 July 2015 (UTC) reply
-DEB|talk - Hypn1969 is neither the creator of the page nor has a vested interest in the page but lives in South Africa where this artist is a recognised celeb. and it was felt that after 21 years in the industry he could be included. Please do not make assumptions.
  • Delete - Definitely delete. Adverting page lacking any indication of independent, non-trivial support. Concerning the articles North America refers to the first is about him; however, the second is really about hypnosis and only briefly mentions the article subject. reddogsix ( talk) 19:21, 4 July 2015 (UTC) reply
  • Delete for now with doubts for draft/userfy as there's not much that can't be restarted; my searches found coverage here, here and here and I'm sure there's some more if you search local news media but I think we'll wait until it's more significant and in-depth. @ SwisterTwister: Did you see/view the sources I posted in my !vote above? North America 1000 00:28, 9 July 2015 (UTC) reply
Yes but it wasn't enough to satisfy me or notability and this in any case would barely pass local notability. SwisterTwister talk 02:50, 9 July 2015 (UTC) reply
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

  • KeepComment - The argument on deleting the article is based on a assumption that all readers are fluent in Afrikaans and that all media records pertaining to the artist is in digital format online. [5] refers to articles dated back to 2000. The article [6] refers to Andre The Hilarious Hypnotists Television show featuring the following personalities - Jurie Els (vanaand), Guillaume, Robbie Klay, Kim Rany, Dowwe Dolla (môreaand) [7], Saranti Rheeders, die Grafsteensangers en die Campbells (Vrydagaand), Kurt Darren [8] en Helene Bester (Saterdagaand), Thys die Bosveldklong, Hi5 en Dozi, en Casper De Vries [9], Steve Hofmeyer [10]. As the artist is bilinqual working in a country with 16 official languages one has to take into account Beeld [11] and Volksblad [12] where the words hipnotis, hipnotiseur, skreeusnaakse hipnotiseur, hipnose all refer to the same artist — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hypn1969 ( talkcontribs) 07:09, 9 July 2015 (UTC) Hypn1969 ( talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. reply
