I disagree, as far I read: He fullfills at least 4 of the criteria needed to meet notability. 1) Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself.[note 1]
This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, magazine articles, online versions of print media, and television documentaries[note 2] except for the following:
Any reprints of press releases, other publications where the musician or ensemble talks about themselves, and all advertising that mentions the musician or ensemble, including manufacturers' advertising.[note 3]
Works consisting merely of trivial coverage, such as articles that simply report performance dates, release information or track listings, or the publications of contact and booking details in directories.
Articles in a school or university newspaper (or similar), in most cases.
2) Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart.[note 4] Single 2AM charted st 104 on the pop and 29 on the RnB chart mentioned on Sage the Gemini's page - see citation /info/en/?search=Sage_the_Gemini
12) Has been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or TV network.
4) Has received non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country.[note 5]

- Strong Keep Nominator appears not to have, either researched the topic or regarded the criteria of notability. This shouldn't have been nominated for deletion. It was written here as a requested article. /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Requested_articles/music/Performers,_bands_and_songwriters And I think the links above support the need for an article creation.
Update:
There are such things as article stubs on Wikipedia as far as I have seen. If the information was deemed to little it could stubbing an article would have made more sense. This is an open encylopedia subject to change it's normal to assume the addition of information. Generally articles on new artists tend to be smaller because they are about a NEW ARTIST, the information on the artist is still rolling out, I've seen this happen countless times on this website. The nominator admitted that no research was done before the article was selected for deletion. That's poor practice. If more information is needed then articles should be nominated for more information to be added not for deletion. - Withdraw nomination, while most of the above links dont show notability, he does have at least minimal coverage, including a major news outlet and a music site, so he qualifies with one of the criteria at notability for musicians, despite pretty much only having a mixtape to his name. i added one ref. just having a request at article creation doesnt mean a subject deserves an article. my mistake was in assuming that the article creator (likely a fan so highly motivated in principle to do this right) made an effort to write an article showing notability. they didnt, obviously, but now maybe someone can rewrite it and add some refs, and not abandon it. yes, i didnt do a search. thats an error on my part. but, its also an error to start an article on a living person and not show notability from the get go. no one should just assume an article will write itself. I know this is not the forum for this, but this project is in deep trouble with all the extremely poorly written, overly promotional articles on marginally notable people. when i create an article, i find at least enough to clearly demonstrate notability, and dont assume others have to.
