Perhaps others see it differently, but I get the impression that the sources about this actor/businessperson aren't actually independent reliable sources, but press releases / self-penned hagiographies pretending to be real articles. Take e.g. the first source [1], from the Times of India (or something similar), used to source his awards and nominations. All very high praise, but it seems to be impossible to find out for which series or films he actually did receive these awards for? His IMDb entry (given as an external link) is empty... • Delete this is almost certainly promotional, WP:NOTPROMO. For now, I've removed the most obvious advertisement for the subject's own product. Also, the so-called "Dada Saheb Phalke Indian Television award" seems to be a knock-off award. — siro χ o 16:34, 29 August 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - First, PROMO is never a reason for deletion through AfD. If it is a case of TNT, it can be done through Speedy. That aside, the references are classic WP:NEWSORGINDIA so cannot be used to show notability. Notice they are all published within the last 60 days, written in promotional tone, and in publications that allow sponsored content. -- CNMall41 ( talk) 17:17, 29 August 2023 (UTC) reply
    WP:NOTPROMO/ WP:PROMO is part of WP:NOT, which is a valid policy reason for deletion by WP:DEL-REASON#14. — siro χ o 19:32, 29 August 2023 (UTC) reply
I believe it would be WP:DEL-REASON#1 since NOT would be criteria for speedy deletion. Being that you went with an WP:ATD and removed promotional content, and since AfC is WP:NOTCLEANUP, I am not sure how that criteria would still apply so the !vote was puzzling. -- CNMall41 ( talk) 20:24, 29 August 2023 (UTC) reply
I see you did the same with another AfD that was moved by creator. I attempted to move it back but see you fixed it before I could figure out the process. Thanks for doing that. -- CNMall41 ( talk) 20:25, 29 August 2023 (UTC) reply
