The Weyerhaeuser Corporate Headquarters is a modernist building in Federal Way, Washington and the former home of timberland company Weyerhaeuser. [1] [2] [3] [4] The campus was designed by architect Edward Charles Bassett and landscape architect Peter Walker. [3] [4]
The campus was sold by Weyerhaeuser in 2016 when the company moved to a new office in Seattle's Pioneer Square. [2] The property was purchased by Industrial Realty Group and renamed to Woodbridge Corporate Park.
...certainly the best building you're going to see on the I-5 corridor between Tacoma and Seattle. That's selling it short, though. Draped at every level in English ivy, the building that's been described as a skyscraper on its side also manages to look like it's a natural outgrowth of the earth.
The Weyerhaeuser site near Seattle, praised for its balance of building and landscape, is at the center of a battle between conservationists and a developer.

The Weyerhaeuser campus paved the way for environmentally conscious corporate buildings. Now it's under threat.
