The Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (in Portuguese: Universidade Virtual do Estado de São Paulo, UNIVESP) is a public university in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, ^[1] designed to offer semipresencial courses for the whole state. It is the first virtual public university in Brazil. ^{[2] [3]}

UNIVESP was founded under the Geraldo Alckmin government in 2012 and is linked to the São Paulo state government's Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation.
