Thank you for making a report about 86.131.229.188(talk·contribs·block log) at
Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and
all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only
block users if they have received a recent final
warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you.
TigerShark 23:47, 28 June 2007 (UTC)reply
It is not "weird", whether they performed 3 acts of vandalism in 4 minutes is irrelevant, it is not an usually high rate of vandalism and in itself is not a reason to block. You did not follow the correct process, specifically you did not issue a warning indicating a possible block. Also, they had already stopped by the time you issued your last warning, so it would have made no difference if it had been a final warning. The escalation process is there for a reason, so please try to follow it. Not doing so can do more harm than good, there is no prize for the number of users blocked.
TigerShark 23:56, 28 June 2007 (UTC)reply
Echoing TigerShark Padawan, on all accounts. Generally they won't block until they get the fourth warning template or the vandalism outrageously bad (such as vandalism to BIO pages). Blocks are given on the basis of current actions, not past - the user is blocked, not the computer.
WLU 14:05, 29 June 2007 (UTC)reply
Touche (with a little hat). But, looking at the vandalism you
reverted, since it was just 'spacing' vandalism rather than libel or defamation, that gets a lower-level warning rather than an instaban or final warning. Did they say 'GB is a giant douchebag who molests puppies', that's an instaban or minimum level 3 warning. Altering the spacing means starting with a level 1. Had they already had a warning, you'd put on a warning that was one level higher. If you were putting on a level 4 warning, they did something worthy of an instaban, or they just came back after a block and their first action was vandalism, then you report them to the ANI. It was a good revert, but you have to ascend through the levels (in most cases). You're learning so don't be discouraged.

I Runewiki777 award the tireless contributor barnstar to Warrush because its his birthday. he made more than 800 edits in a month and he deserves it.
RuneWiki777
Do you want a barnstar page or one of those show bars? Both are ready.
RuneWiki777 17:37, 5 July 2007 (UTC)reply
Any sub-page can be created by manipulating the whateverpage/newtitle text - you can search for a page (User:Warrush/Awards or User talk:Warrush/Archive 1), or editing a page and creating the text Archive 1. In either case, you'll be clicking on a redlink to create the page, then filling it in with whatever you want. I usually find a contributor's page I like, then blatantly rip off the box (adjusting for username, colour, borders, etc). Best way to learn is bang your head against the code until something gives. Sub-pages are pretty easy to create and very handy. The actual code used is exactly the same as what you would use for a wikilink, so I'd say it's well within your skills. Happy birthday! Didja get your stomach pumped?
WLU 18:18, 5 July 2007 (UTC)reply
Hope you don't mind, I tweaked your awards wikilink to be internal rather than external, for those of us using popups and so people aren't scared to click on it.
WLU
You are a terrible son and should be ashamed. And stop using the talk pages as a forum! Kids with their hats and their baggy pants and their wrapping music...
WLU
I called my mother last night. Unless you're talking about the forum thing. In which chase, that's totally different 'cause I'm older than you are. Is there actually a difference between American and European dating? I didn't know. Did you see the
time/date MOS entry? Wikilinking would mean you don't have to play with the order. Anyway, doing well with the editing, keep it up.
WLU 18:26, 6 July 2007 (UTC)reply
Your older then me? What does age have to do with talking on a forum?
Warrush
I would guess I am older, I think you referenced high school at some point, that's far in my past. I'm old enough to want to pull up the pants these teenagers wear, and straighten their hats. My forum comment was because I was uncertain if your "And you're not" (who's car? your car. You are going to learn if you're a good speller) comment was regards me being a terrible son or talk pages as fora. And age has nothing to do with it, I lied.

I noticed your interest in security related topics, I thought you might be interested in reviewing my rewrite of the
Stack overflow article, the existing article makes no mention of security vulnerabilities resulting from stack overflows, I tried to include a small section before but some users kept reverting it with blanket declarations that basically said "nuh uh" so i decided to make a proper article thats more difficult to argue with, if you have an interest its currently in my sandbox
here. let me know what you think, and if you like it, post something in the talk page for the original article. --

Next, paste this cod into the edit summary box: Creating deletion discussion page for PageName. Finally, paste this code into the articles for deletion log for June 16th: . Have the edit summary be Adding Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName. Thanks for your endeavours to improve articles, however the standard practice is to put punctuation outside quotes per.
WP:MOS#Quotation marks, except where the punctuation is actually part of the quotation. This conforms with practice outside the US, referred to as logical quotation; it is used by Wikipedia both because of the principle of minimal change, and also because the method is less prone to misquotation, ambiguity, and the introduction of errors in subsequent editing. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
