Disambiguation link notification for March 10

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kitschies, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Faber ( check to confirm |  fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

@ SQL: What does that mean? Do I need a new ISP to continue to use wikipedia? Help me out here? Twopower332.1938 ( talk) 02:59, 7 June 2021 (UTC) reply
Are you (or did you try) using a VPN, or some other anonymizing proxy? If so, that's likely the issue. Hurricane electric does not provide internet access in any way that I am aware of. !ɘM γɿɘυϘ ⅃ϘƧ 03:03, 7 June 2021 (UTC) reply
@ SQL: I do not use a VPN. This is my ISP: http://portal.ptcoh.net/index.php I guess they contract with Hurricane Electric to provide WiMAX service in my county. This is my only access to internet other than Elon Musk's new thing. I won't pay him $100 per month for internet just to edit wikipedia, just because some automated process seems to think I'm doing something wrong. Twopower332.1938 ( talk) 03:22, 7 June 2021 (UTC) reply
Just as a heads up, ST47 is a person, and not an automated process. And it's not that anyone thinks you're doing something wrong. We see a lot of abuse from servers - such as those hosted by HE, Azure, AWS, DigitalOcean, and the like. From spam to vandalism to death threats and stalkers. We have no choice but to pre-emptively filter that traffic in order to protect the project. Unfortunately, sometimes this ends up affecting users from improperly configured internet service providers.
Now that I understand why you're editing from that range - I would say you likely qualify for IP Block Exemption, which would allow you to bypass blocks such as this one. Please give me a few moments to double check, and I will most likely grant that userright to you. !ɘM γɿɘυϘ ⅃ϘƧ 03:29, 7 June 2021 (UTC) reply
You should be good to go here. Please ping me if you continue to run into issues, and I'll do what I can to help. I've granted the right for a period of one year for the moment. If you need it beyond that, either ping me again, or open another unblock request (or, follow the directions at WP:IPECPROXY). !ɘM γɿɘυϘ ⅃ϘƧ 03:37, 7 June 2021 (UTC) reply
@ SQL: Thanks. Twopower332.1938 ( talk) 03:40, 7 June 2021 (UTC) reply

IP block exempt

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit the English Wikipedia through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Inappropriate usage of this user right may result in revocation. I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. !ɘM γɿɘυϘ ⅃ϘƧ 03:33, 7 June 2021 (UTC) reply

Ruth O'Brien

Sorry for the laziness in adding the descriptor to Ruth O'Brien. While I was working on her page I found two other Ruth O'Brien's who looked notable. I plan to work on their pages, but it might be a little while. DaffodilOcean ( talk) 21:53, 7 March 2022 (UTC) reply

Schoenbrunn

you're the one that edited the Schoenbrunn, Ohio back to New Philadelphia. I made that page based on what i know as i am a descendant of one of the settlers that founded Schoenbrunn and Gnadenhutten. As a Moravian myself that lives in the area, i made that page based on what's been told to me by my family. I was told that Schoenbrunn was in fact a large area that took up part's on New Philly, Roswell, And Midvale, Basically all of Goshen Township, and that Schoenbrunn's cabins was actually founded between New Philly and Roswell. Actually, Part of Roswell is actually Schoenbrunn, so yeah. BobXQ ( talk) 11:50, 9 May 2022 (UTC) BobXQ, of Roswell. reply

Source For Bezaleel Wells?

Hello, I'm curious what's your source for this edit. I couldn't find the exact dates and before/after, and I'd like the article to cite the source, if possible. -- Engineerchange ( talk) 02:34, 30 August 2023 (UTC) reply

  • @ Engineerchange: I'll have to get back to you on that. I was going to write an article about wells about 7 or 8 years ago and never got around to it. My notes are a mess at the moment Twopower332.1938 ( talk) 02:45, 30 August 2023 (UTC) reply
    • @ Twopower332.1938: Oh boy, okay, I added a citation needed for the moment. I'd be happy to follow up with you in a few weeks if that would be of any help. Finding sources on Ohio state politics seems to be a nasty business in my ventures the last few weeks. Cheers, -- Engineerchange ( talk) 03:30, 30 August 2023 (UTC) reply

I noticed you have been editing some health-related articles recently. Thanks for that work. A bunch of us hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. You're welcome to join us if that's an area of editing that interests you. It's a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style.
