Hi, thanks for your enquiry. The methods of growing, or fabricating dreadlocks were moved into their own articles at: Backcombing and Dread perming. The neglect "method" is covered in the lead. Basically I think that aside from a small overview this should be kept to a minimum in the article as historically these methods play a not significant rôle in the subject of dreadlocks. Perhaps a new article could be created called " dreadlock revival", which covers how these methods came about in greater detail. :) If you disagree with my reasoning, feel free to contribute on the talk page where this is already being discussed. - FrancisTyers 17:26, 17 January 2006 (UTC) reply

Yeah, I know this, actually a more accurate literal translation of this would be shit on the border. The German for fuck the border would be something like fick die Grenze, but unfortunately this does not work as a literal translation. In order to express dissatisfaction with the idea of restricting free movement, most germans would say shit on the border. Hope this clears it up, I've asked a number of German people about this. Thanks for the message. Here's why I deleted the section:

1. Verifiability and original research. How can we factually establish whether the environment is "very informal"? Or whether certain things are "not allowed at most schools"? Even if some classrooms "have several couches, a snack vending machine, and a fish tank", will they have it a year from now?
2. Neutrality. Some people may think that "This creates a more relaxed work environment, and it also allows students to feel more in control and exercise responsibility more often", but others may not.
3. Notability. Does it really matter, in the grand scheme of things, whether students are allowed to listen to music or if some rooms have fish tanks and vending machines?

• 1. Yes, it is verifiable. If you would like, I can take pictures of the parts of the school mentioned and then post them in the article. I figured that doing so would be a waste of wikimedia server space, but I can upload detailed graphical documentation that verifies what was written if you would like. The couches, vending machines, etc. will defintely still be there a year from now, and I am certain that certain things are "not allowed at most schools"; take Davis Senior High School, for example. I attend both schools. MAny things are allowed at DVHS that are not allowed at the other school.

• 2. If it isn't neutral, then that particular sentence could just be re-worded.

• 3. Very Notable. The school creates an environment where students feel they are in control of their own education. It should be noted that 100% of students seeking diplomas passed the CA High School Exit Exam, and graduated. The biggest difference between this school and any other high school is it's environment.

Some sophomore put this page up Davis Senior High School Band Program. No offense, but they did a really bad job with it and I kind of feel bad for bashing the kid so hard, but it was kind of almost offensive to me. Anyways, it's interesting. (I wasn only on here because I wanted to see what was happening with the World War I page (it changed, but it says something different now. We can't get the article back though.) I think the problem lies in the fact if on a page you link to a category with the code [ [ Category: X ] ] it puts the page in that category. Instead you need to link to it with [ [ :Category: X ] ]. Cheers- PocklingtonDan 18:53, 8 December 2006 (UTC) reply
