You have to understand that there is nothing to be "passed through" here. It is extremely difficult to positively affect the outcome of an AfD because the aspects that make it notable (eg significant media coverage and the "well known award" criteria) are independent of the site itself, and the people that monitor AfD´s are very good at locating and verifying external recognition of your site. Please encourage your forum participants to stop bombarding the AfD if possible, and accept that the Wikipdeia procedures ensure every topic is dealt with fairly. Thanks for your cooperation. Just a further clarification on your WP:WEB fixation - there is a difference between you asserting your opinion that the article passes WEB and the interpretation of other editors. Hammering on about it isn't doing you any favours. I've given my opinion, just as you have given yours and others have given theirs - just because you're saying it the loudest and longest doesn't impress or sway anyone. There is probably nothing you can now do to influence this debate, and no further clarification can usefully be given above what has already been said. Wikipedia isn't going anywhere and at such time that your site meets criteria for inclusion it will be included. You might also consider that your site could be worthy of a mention on a related page that concerns the teams / sports involved. Don't go overboard on this and remember that others are free to question or edit your submissions, but it could be the way forward. Similarly, many people (e.g. software programmers or company executives) who do not qualify for their own page can still get a "namecheck", and also the external link they usually crave if they are involved in something noteworthy and it is done properly. Why did you put the Mouhammad_Faye page for deletion? Everything there is legit and true, not to mention the fact that he is a college basketball player, and other players, like Tyler_Hansbrough, a player for UNC. Delete him. His page is as legit as Faye's. Faye is a fan favorite, and will play a lot this season. I guess you are trying to delete some pages to get your Wikipedia status built? Ha..nice try. No, I don't have anything to prove- I'm just cleaning up nonencyclopedic material that doesn't belong in the Wikipedia according to the standards set by community consensus. That's the thing- my page is in userspace- it's not part of the encyclopedia. Every user is allowed to have a page in userspace, because of that. However, the article in question is in Article space, which is where standards such as WP:BIO apply. -- Kuzaar^{- T- C-} 11:14, 7 June 2006 (UTC) reply

That does remind me, though. If the closing admin decides to delete the page, one of the voters suggested it be userfied, which means any of you fans that are interested in keeping the page can copy it to your userspace so that nothing will be lost even if it's removed from article space.
