The image description page for this image says that it is from the CIA Factbook. The source for the image at [1] says "Radiation Hotspots Resulting From the Chornobyl' Nuclear Power Plant Accident from Handbook of International Economic Statistics. 1996 (273K)". Please explain, preferably also on your talk page of the English language encyclopedia as well as here.

Thanks for explaining, that's not a problem at all! The problem was the inconsistency between the claimed source of the English version (CIA Factbook) and actual source, also from the CIA, the handbook. There's still one mistake in the English description. That claims that it's an original work when it's really a derivative work and has more restrictions than just those of the CC license, it also has any that apply to US government works.
