I didn't mean anything like that, I just meant that I wish all these wins the Magic have gotten in the preseason so far carried over into the regular season so they would have a good head start on everyone else. :)
But I agree with you about the poor maintenance on the NBA season articles. For exapmle, the one thing that has really caught my eye, is the game log templates for each team this season. I don't know if it's because the templates have been created and just haven't been added to the category for 2009-10 season game log templates, but there are only 4 teams with game log templates for this season, including the one for the Magic that I just created two nights ago. And the ones that have been created don't have a link to that team's 2009-10 season schedule on ESPN.com because they don't have the end_year=2010 at the top and bottom. The only template that does have that is the one for the Magic, because I caught that while I was making the template and saw how to fix it on the {{ Template:NBA game log start}} page. I imagine there are several major problems that you may have already seen with the other teams, but I don't involve myself with any of the wikiprojects so I've never brought it up with anyone. Hi, Glad to see you work on these articles. I know that the new CIS website lists conference wins and losses for Canada West and OUA but they don't actually have any cross-conference games, are erroneous, and ought to be omitted. I also wonder if there is any need of the boxes being templates at all, if they are not to be transcluded in multiple places. It might as well be substituted, hadn't it? I've been too busy lately to do a reasonable job of keeping up with these articles but hope to get them up to proper snuff at some date. Cheers! DoubleBlue ( talk) 02:40, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure they don't. I recall reading somewhere that they don't, but that was at least a year ago. I did some digging on the IIHF site and found a couple of things: last year's championship, at the very bottom, it says Canada wins gold and Kazakhstan and Germany are relegated. But for division I, all it says is who's relegated and promoted, which I interpret as no medal given. This isn't exactly damning evidence, though. Feel free to change it back if you think it would be best. Or perhaps something like, "only those in the top division can be named champions" until we can confirm it. Because of word that the new league formerly called "Arena Football 1" has decided to take on the new Arena Football League moniker, I thought it would be a good time to revive Wikipedia:WikiProject Arena Football League. The team I adopt for this project is the Milwaukee Iron (my home team), and I am leaving this message on your talk page to (hopefully) get you back interested. I notice that you were previously a member, being a fan of the Orlando Predators and Spokane Shock, so if you're interested, please sign up on the members list and we'll get things going again. Rejoice, for ARENA FOOTBALL IS BACK! Tom Danson ( talk) 18:41, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles ( talk) 18:09, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

FYI Kudpung ( talk) 02:35, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
I do not know the story about the IceGators's mistaken affialiation with the New York Islanders, but I know that NHL clubs are only officially affiliated with AHL and ECHL clubs. On November 4, Mike Sellito (a player who was signed to an AHL contract) was announced by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of being cut by the team and was being sent to the IceCats. I think the IceCats announced that they are affiliated with Islanders on October 18(?), but it seems that is not so. (The Sound Tigers club is owned by the Islanders so any agreement that the IceCats thought they had with Bridgeport is also an agreement with the Islanders.)
But I think your concern was the levels of hockey. The AHL can be considered as the AAA of hockey and the ECHL AA, but the CHL also thinks itself as AA. The other hockey leagues do not officially call themselves the A level of hockey. For this reason, I do think list any ECHL club being affiliated with any of the other hockey leagues. If you take a close look at the transactions between the AHL and ECHL (take the player movements between the AHL's Lowell/Albany Devils and the ECHL's Trenton Devils), you will notice that you do not see any recalls or assignments between the two leagues. You will sometimes see the ECHL loaning players to the AHL or those players being signed to PTO's (Professial Tryout Contracts) who are then released from the AHL club back to the ECHL. This also happens with ECHL clubs and those clubs in the other leagues.
I hope that helps a little. Thanks, Raul17 ( talk) 10:46, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on 1914 Saskatchewan Huskies football team requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact
one of these administrators to request that the administrator
userfy the page or email a copy to you.

Consensus can change, it has in the past. The earlier merge proposal that you referenced on the Nationals talk page was not filed properly in accordance with WP:MERGE, which clearly says that the discussion should take place at the destination talk page, which I have done. The other discussion took place at the Expos talk page, which may have affected the outcome. Also you failed to give a policy reason for your opposition, since all Merge/deletion discussion are not votes, but are based on wikipedia policy and guidelines its usually customary to list a reason why you are either for or against a particular proposal. If you would like to do so now, it would be appreciated.-- Jojhutton ( talk) 00:46, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Please do not add players in the system to the rosters like you did to the Oilers and Kings. Use the official roster list on their websites as guidelines. Roster spots are for players that play on the team. Not players that they have signed and are playing elsewhere. Thanks -- Everyone Dies In the End ( talk) 05:44, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Please stop your blanket and indiscriminate removal of red links from articles as you have done at List of Los Angeles Kings draft picks. Many of the red links in that list served to indicated that an article should be created for the topic because the subject is notable and verifiable per WP:NHOCKEY. Only remove red links from such lists after you have confirmed that the subject is not verifiably notable. Hi. I am sorry to hear he died, just as I am sorry that all of the people died on the flight. I have no dog in this fight. I never heard of any of these people before today. I have been trying to keep track of which Alexander reportedly survived (Galimov or Sizov) -- apparently Galimov is the one who died -- and haven't been keeping track of Salei, except to remove an unregistered user's restoring of the text indicating that he Salei wasn't on the flight, when I know that was disputed. I did not mean to mess around with Salei, but the problem is that there is so much editing, including several instances of vandalism, by unregistered users, that by the time I am updating something another edit has gone through before my update goes through.
I am on your side - I am trying to keep out the OR, speculation, etc. If I deleted something I shoudn't have it was probably due to the above.
By the way -- the list of names add up to 44, not 45, last time I checked (see above), so it appears one name is missing. Yours, Rms125a@hotmail.com ( talk) 18:34, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
