Adminship page

Saw this page and just wanted to give you a nudge about some numbers. You will want to show collaboration and work with the main_talk, wikipedia, and wikipedia_talkspaces as well, it shows good group and dispute resolution skills (the two talkspaces) and familiarity with our best practices and policies (the wikipediaspace). You want to have a good distribution across most of the namespaces (main, user, wikipedia, and image. The Mediawiki-space, being the software interface, is generally left alone). You would do well to emphasize quality of edits as opposed to number, as well. Just hoping you get on the right footing for this, and to let you know that while i endorsed the deletion of your adoption program, it wasnt anything against you as a user per se. :) -- M ask? 02:37, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

good advice there--we need to see how you discuss policy. DGG ( talk) 04:38, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Its more of a semi-wikibreak, in fact, I was just considering going on wikibreak. Im going to take those wikibreak tags off soon. Probably now. Nothing 444 02:58, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Great userpage designer. But heres a tip: If you are considering adminship, edit the mainspace more. P.S. Instead of using [[User;RyRy5|RyRy5]], use {{ex|RyRy5}}, as it generates the same exact output, its just faster. Nothing 444 03:02, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

RyRy, I really think it looks good. If you enjoy doing that sort of work, have you thought about getting involved in portals? Portals design good-looking layouts for groups of similar interests, and it's a much needed area for help. - Philippe 03:02, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Uh... RyRy5, do you think you can design WP:LINY, like you designed WP:BOSOX? Nothing 444 03:03, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

User talk templates

Hi. When you're adding a standard warning template to user talk as in this example, please remember to add "subst:" to the template. For example {{subst:uw-test1}}. WP:SUBST gives additional info on this. Thanks! --- Taroaldo ( talk) 03:30, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

I dont think its really nessesary for that template. Nothing 444 03:32, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Matter of form

I was looking at Special:Contributions/RyRyBot. While I can understand using the account to request a monobook clearing, it is generally considered extremely poor form to use a bot account to carry on a discussion as you did with User:Nothing444. Using a bot to make test edits in your userspace (to say perfect a signature or template) is fine, but using it to carry on a conversation with another user should be avoid. Thanks. User/Talk page design

I really admire your user & talk page. I hope you don't mind, but I created my own version of yours. I'm pretty sure it's Ok with you, right?-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 02:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Sure is, i have no objections to people copying part or all of my user page. In fact i take doing that as a compliment, as it means people like the page i made :). The only things i would like to request (Though i don't insist on that) is that the little bar at the bottom of my main page is kept intact in some form that signals its an omega purple adaption. Again not insisting, just requesting. Oh, and in case you need a little help with customization of the template, drop a line; im happy to give a few pointers if you want to add your own colors, links or something like that :) Excirial ( Talk, Contribs) 09:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. Also, you do know the User:Jj137 has a design similar, right?-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 17:51, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
*Nods* He asked permission some time ago. There are actually several users i know of using my template; The majority asked if it was ok which i really appreciate. There are also several users that use the template without ever asking, but as long as they don't claim they made it, its a "Dully noted" for me. If someone would claim they made it themselves, well, i would be a lot less lenient about that i think :) Excirial ( Talk, Contribs) 21:18, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Links

I noticed that you add a large number of links to Wikipedia articles. From looking at the links I get the impression that you do not contemplate your changes for a lot of time. I found links to synonyms (eg. Bank), links to words only marginally related to the article's topic (remember that WP:NOT#DICTIONARY) and worst of all, several changes in a section in Kate which was obviously vandalism. I wonder why you failed to noticed that, didn't you read the paragraph before changing it?

Please apply at least as much care to main space edits as you obviously do while editing your userpage. WP:NOT#MYSPACE -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)

Sorry, I didn't know that. I will look alot more carefully on this. Thanks for giving me the notice.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 21:45, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Please don't distribute discussion across Wikipedia. -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)

Again, please don't put parts of a discussion on my userpage (or anywhere else for that matter). If you want to make a reply, reply where the question was, not at some different page. Why would that make sense? -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)
Oh, I thought that was OK to do, talking to anonymous users on their talk pages.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 21:56, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
BTW, I was talking to you on your talk page, not your userpage. I would never talk on a userpage.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 21:58, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Sure it is ok, but why would you spread a single discussion over two pages? What if a third person enters the discussion, do you write you replies twice? -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)
It's what many users do. Example:User:??? talks to User:!!!. User:!!! replies to that message on User:??? talkpage. User::??? replies to that 2nd message on User:!!! talk page ect. If a third person joins, the third person ussually replies on User:!!! talk page. Do you understand?-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 22:05, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Do I understand? I understand how it is done, I don't understand why it would be desirable to spread a discussion over two pages. -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)
Well, many uses (like me) like doing that. I would say that over 80% of users do that. BTW, you should get a wikipedia account.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 22:13, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Where do you get that number from? I see distributed discussions from time to time, but not nearly as often as normal ones. Also, why it would it be desirable to spread a discussion over two pages even if most people would do it?
I have an account, I just don't want to use it at the moment. Thanks for the tip. -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)
The number was my own opinion. Many users I have met have been doing that. And your second question, it's just what people do.
Ok, look at a random page and look at the talk pages of the last five editors who worked on it. What do you see, distributed or normal discussions? -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)

Can I have your account link?-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 22:21, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Why would I work as an IP if I would spill my account if asked? Sorry, I want to remain anonymous. (It's a nice experience BTW, you should try once in a while.) -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)
It's Ok. I do suggest using your account more often, since user accounts are way more important than IP addresses.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 22:26, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, well, I'm not here to be important, I'm here to write an encyclopedia. -- 87.189.118.77 ( talk)
That too. Well, nice meeting you. I hope I can come across your account some day. Cheers.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 22:30, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Does it matter who I am? This discussion is about keeping discussions on one page. You just spread it out again. (For the record, my IP just changed, my provider does that sometimes. I'm the same guy as 87.189.118.77.) -- 87.189.114.149 ( talk)

I see you're going for admin coaching. Could you consider stopping editing userspace completely and start editing mainspace, or other encyclopedia related pages? I'll be honest - you wouldn't stand a chance of passing without doing that. You really do need to get out of userspace. Ryan Postlethwaite 01:16, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
To be fair, Ryan, my edit count was like that as recently as two months before my own RfA. Quality of edits is far more important than quantity of edits. If you can reel out a few good articles are at least a batch of DYKs, RyRy, the average RfA voter would count your mainspace work healthy. I'd also be willing to co-coach you if you like. Your signature, take 2

Have you noticed yet, that every single editor that you've encountered over the last few days, both admins and editors, have a signature that does not have a "font sixe" in the markup? Just wondering why, as a potential admin candidate, you insist on having a signature that is larger than everyone else's signature. Wondering if you would be willing, as a valued contributor to Wikipedia, to remove the "font size" from your signautre altogether and just let it be default size? Looking forward to your reply. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 00:06, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I didn't say you have to do anything. I was just wondering if you had noticed that every other editor, at least those that were considering adminship, as you are, do not have any "font" size as part of their signature. I'm not mad (and you said you weren't either, which is good), I was just wondering, that's all. I would strongly recommend that you get rid of any "size" portion of your signature, if you want to be taken seriously, that's all. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 00:31, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Sure, I'll explain what I mean by "taken seriously". I think you are a good editor. If you were to run through "requests for adminship" right now, though, I personally think that you would find that you would have more opposers than supporters. Most successful RfAs are for editors that have A)been here for a while, and B)not been involved in major controversies, and C). Not been subject to deletion of their subpages, and D), have proven that they are here to make a better encyclopedia. I'm very glad you are submitting something for FA. That's a good sign! However, I am not convinced, based on your experience, that you would make a good admin candidate, or that you see Wikipedia in the right context. I believe, based on my experience, that you see Wikipedia as a social construct/place to meet friends. I don't see you contributing much to th ebetterment of the "book of free knowledge". Your "signature size" is a side issue, as far as I'm concerned, but at the same time, it's a distraction. Why, (and I've asked you this before), do you insist on having your signature "larger" than everyone else's? I'm baffled by this. I think, personally, that "size 3" is a compromise. At the same time, I strongly believe that you shouldn't care how big your signature is if you really care about the quality of Wikipedia. Why, if I may ask, do you feel that your signature, as a relatively new contributor to this place, should be bigger than everyone else's signature? Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 00:50, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
No, I have no other comments. I think that you need to focus on Wikipedia, instead of Wikipedian editors, but you know that. Also, I think you should change your signature to not have any "size" parameter, and just let it be the same size as all the rest of the text. You are a good editor, and I'm glad you're here, regardless of our disagreements. I hope you will understand where I'm coming from. I don't want you to leave, I simply want you to fit in, and achieve the goals that you have said explicitly on your userpage that you want to achieve. Best of luck to you RyRy. I hope you simplify (make smaller) your signature, and I hope you stay on Wikipedia. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 01:05, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Re: New design

I like it - it's certainly a lot more minimalist than what you had before. I'm glad to see you're focusing more on the mainspace and have struck up a rapport with Philippe and jj137, two very competent administrators who'll be able to guide you when necessary. You certainly have a lot of potential to become a really good editor here, and I'm pleased to see that you're taking steps to realizing it. east.718 at 01:09, April 8, 2008

I think you should stay away from FAC until you get a better understanding of it. First of all, it doesn't work on the traditional voting model; rather, people post concerns about the article's quality. If all significant concerns brought up are fixed, the featured article director will promote the article. Also, Jesus has a long way to go before it becomes a "finished" article, and the pace of growth looks slow to me for now. I'm afraid you may have caught the regular contributors to that article off-guard by submitting it to FAC so early. east.718 at 01:46, April 8, 2008
And what makes you think I'm doing anything at this time? ( hint hint) ;-) Keep up the good work! east.718 at 06:49, April 8, 2008

Jesus

Have you worked or otherwise watched this article develop before? It's an article of very cautious growth, and I don't think the regular contributors would be too happy if you caught them before they were done. bibliomaniac 15 Hey you! Stop lazing around and help fix this article instead! 01:42, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

You should really ask the regular contributors. I've followed discussion about the article for some time and it's apparent that there's still work that needs to be done, particularly because Jesus is such a controversial topic. bibliomaniac 15 Hey you! Stop lazing around and help fix this article instead! 01:48, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Jesus FAC withdrawn

I appreciate you're acting in good faith but it's best if featured articles are nominated by people who have worked closely on them. This way they can give reasoned replies to reviewers and be familiar with the sources to make any suggested improvements. Someone who hasn't worked on the article can't provide this input, so the FAC rumbles on until the opposes become so overwhelming that the article is failed, taking a lot of reviewers' time. I suggest you first work an article up through peer review and good article to prepare for WP:FAC, and see the instructions at the top of WP:FAC regarding notification of principle editors before nomination. SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 01:46, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm glad you agree; withdrawing a premature nom takes almost 20 minutes and six edits :-) SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 01:52, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Controversial topics

One of the important parts of building an online encyclopedia is ensuring, as much as possible, that we don't offend people and that we represent a world view, not one that is specific to the country we are in. On your recent FA nomination of Jesus you suggested a few things that may not really fit in with these aims.

For instance, Jesus is clearly a controversial figure. Christian's believe he is the Son of God, etc, and to Christians Jesus is obviously an important figure. However, to claim that, and I quote, "Jesus is a really special person around the world and in (most) peoples lives" both shows a point of view and is not entirely accurate - for only around a quarter of people on this planet (and that's a generous percentage) identify as Christians.

So, globally, Jesus is not "a really special person around the world in (most) peoples lives". And as a global encyclopedia, we have to strive to reflect that. Thanks George The Dragon ( talk) 02:08, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

RyRy5, I've also noticed that you're spending a lot of time and edits adding links to articles such as Roger Clemens. Please be aware of WP:OVERLINKing; adding too many links to articles is not good editing practice. SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 02:11, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Slow and easy is good

Hey, I noticed it looks like you're going down a list, getting involved in various things like featured article nominations, in an apparent preparation for being an admin. Adminship isn't something to prepare for, and it's not something you get after checking items off a list. I would advise you to take it slow and easy. Maybe get yourself adopted or otherwise find a mentor. Wikipedia is a big place and learning it takes time. Jumping into stuff like featured articles when there's still so much to learn may not be the best approach. Right now, being eager is one of your strongest qualities as an editor. But beware of being too eager. I noticed you've been asking for rollback, starting immediately after it was taken away. This is too eager, don't you think? You'll learn far better if you go at an appropriate pace, rather than jumping into a bunch of new things all at once. For adminship, I'd say put it out of your head for, say, a year- or maybe wait til your mentor nominates you, assuming you get a mentor. Instead of thinking you need to learn everything, focus on one or two things. Say, new pages patrol. I see you've already tagged some things for deletion, including a few successfully-deleted articles in just the last couple days. That's great; it's valuable work that needs done. It's a great way to learn what kind of content we can or cannot use. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say keep up the good work, but be careful of trying go too fast. You'll have a better time if you slow it down a bit. There is no race. Friday (talk) 02:12, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Also, be aware that you should never delete another editors' comments. [1] SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 02:19, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
No, it wasn't right; look at the RfA now, and see I how I commented and moved it out of the tally without deleting another editors' comment. SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 02:23, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Observation

During the past few weeks I've been watching your talk page, comments on other editor pages, and a few discussions related to you. What is it exactly you're looking for by constantly telling people how many mainspace edits you've made? Many of your edits are minor. I've seen you add a comma when it's not needed. I've gone back and reverted some of your edits. Building up your edit count with minor edits like the one mentioned isn't going to impress people when you plan to run for admin. You are repeatedly telling people that is your plan and it makes you look overly-concerned with that position and will come back to haunt you. If your only goal on WP is to one day become an admin, I suggest you reevaluate why you're here. Being an admin isn't some kind of prize, it's more of a chore (that's my own observation). The reason we're here is to build an encyclopedia and yeah, if you make friends on the side, that's great. I've encountered alot of great people on here and I utilize talk pages. I have no plans to ever become an admin. I'm too opinionated for that and I would never get approved. But if your goal is to have the mop then I suggest you write some great articles, instead of reminding everyone of how many edits you've made, how many "adoptees" you've supposedly helped, and asking people to look at your userpage. My words may come across as semi-rude, but it's not meant that way. It's meant to be helpful advice for your time spent on WP. Cheers. AgnosticPreachersKid ( talk) 07:13, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Comments like this and this are what I'm referring to when I mention constantly reminding others of how many edits you've made. I'm sure Philippe will check on your progress, but there's no need to constantly remind him of your edits, ok? Cheers. Also, if you feel like replying to this, please do so on this talk page. Thanks. So the list is for "notable ring announcers" in boxing, and after 15 years in the biz, and dozens upon dozens of televised shows world wide - do I not qualify?

It is more of an explanation of who I am than a bio.

Thoughts

You know, what you say makes a sort of sense. I might trade retired for semi-retired. I'd eventually return to active status. Let me know what you think. ESCStudent774441 ( talk) 02:02, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

How to trade templates

How do I indicate a return, if only in a partial sense? What template might allow me some active editing without being fully active? Can you place those for me on my page? ESCStudent774441 ( talk) 02:09, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

User Page

Sure, I could use all the help I can get. I'd like to get to administrator level soon if I can prove worthy. My user page, sure I can use instruction. And are you saying I cannot edit at all even from semi retired status? ESCStudent774441 ( talk) 02:17, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

So Semi-Retired allows editing while as long as I am labeled Retired I cannot edit at all. I guess that's the meaning? ESCStudent774441 ( talk) 02:24, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Retired seems to imply a total disinterest in editing I was led to assume. I'd love to create a new template, one called Resigned where the user wants out but not to imply a possible return. If a user uses the Resigned template, they should not be able to edit from that account ever again. ESCStudent774441 ( talk) 02:29, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

I think I will trade full retirement for a semi retired status so I can get back. I'd like to drop that eventually too if I was offered adminship. ESCStudent774441 ( talk) 02:35, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Alright, I'll try it. ESCStudent774441 ( talk) 02:39, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

An Answer to Your Question

Hi RyRy5, I noticed you asked what canvassing is on the MFD for the WP:BOSOX Scouting Office. Well the relevant policy page to look at is WP:CANVASS. Its when you spam other users to vote at deletion/policy debates. You haven't done a severe form of it to be honest so its a bit much to call it canvassing. Canvassing is considered a concern when the user has left such notices on loads of user talk pages (you seemed to have left it on one). However, you did commence in one canvass-ish act, you encouraged Nothing444 to vote support rather than leaving a neutral message (this is referred to as campaigning). Please try to remain neutral if you wanted to leave a friendly notice of such debates and not campaign for users to vote a certain way. Comments left by canvassed users may not be looked at as credibly since they were encouraged to vote that way. ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 05:01, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

That would probably be discouraged. However, a good threshold to follow would probably be what this section says here. ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 05:08, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

RE

(copied and pasted from my talk page)

( User:Philippe has asked me to always keep him updated. I guess I should slow down on that. Comments? Also, please start a new section. I didn't know that you sent a message towards the middle of my talk until I looked at the page's history.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 05:53, 12 April 2008 (UTC))

Philippe might have asked you to keep him updated, but every 50 mainspace edits? Do you think that's necessary? It seems that you're wanting constant praise for your contributions on this site. People will notice your work without reminding them, ok?

P.S. I asked you to reply on this page, not mine. I like to keep conversations together instead of going back and forth between talk pages, hence the banner on the top of my talk page. Thanks. AgnosticPreachersKid ( talk) 06:03, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh, sorry. I have been trying to change my editing by not editing like by adding commas, or any other not needed edits. If you look at my contribs, I have been editing in a better way.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 06:05, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
There's no need to apologize and I'm sure you're making valuable edits. Right now, I'm referring to updating users on your edit count. The editcounter userbox you have on your userpage will let others know. In fact, if you want to let others know of how many mainspace edits you've made, a good way to do that is by adding the userbox stating how many mainspace edits you've made. I can't located it at the moment, but I've seen it on several userpages. AgnosticPreachersKid ( talk) 06:17, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
I have seen some around too. I would appreciate it if you can find the template.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 06:19, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion and AFD

Please could you read WP:SPEEDY before nominating any more articles for speedy deletion. How did you imagine this was suitable for deletion under A3? And this, while perhaps suitable under something, is not A7. There could even be an argument that all places are inherently notable by definition.

As for AFDs, User:Metros asked you above to expand your reasons for deletion, yet you have just added Merge per nom for an AFD.

Please, stop charging around the encyclopedia as unless you start doing things properly, you are in danger of preventing yourself ever standing a chance at RFA. Making 1,000,000 mainspace edits would not make up for it.

Perhaps you should ask for an adopter? It would help you learn the fundamental basics of Wiki, an area you appear to be lacking in.

Please leave any replies here so others who are monitoring your behavior, etc, can respond. George The Dragon ( talk) 14:34, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

I understand. I will look at those carefully. And yes, I will start adding reasons for tagging articles and finding the right templates.
One question? I have seen many article that do not have/cite references. In that case, should I add a template to the artcle? But I don't know what the template code is. Can you help me with this?-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 14:39, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
I noticed tagging two articles for deletion created by User talk:Dylanlyness. Please check if I tagged it right or if it needs tagging at all. The articls are listed on his/her talk page. -- RyRy5 Got something to say? 14:45, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
You have listed those as for speedy deletion under A3, but they do have content . Notice under A3 "However, a very short article may be a valid stub if it has context, in which case it is not eligible for deletion under this criterion" as appears to be the case here.
For reference tags, see WP:CTT George The Dragon ( talk) 14:52, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Should I remove the tags. Also, do articles like the ones User talk:Dylanlyness created need tags like the following:{{Unreferenced|date=April 2008}}. If they do, I will add those in. And if those articles don't need to be deleted, I will remove them.-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 14:58, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
In all cases, if an article has a chance of being referenced, it should be given that chance, so yes. George The Dragon ( talk) 15:02, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
n your message above. Were you refering to the db tags or the unreferenced templates?-- RyRy5 Got something to say? 15:05, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
db tags should only be used if the article is clearly suitable for speedy deletion. If it is not, then go to AFD. But in a number of cases, even articles that are riddled with grammar and spelling errors can be notable. Even better than adding ref-tags is to add the references yourself. A quick check of Google can normally find references, just make sure they meet WP:RS George The Dragon ( talk) 15:22, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

revisions to DAW

Obviously I'm new to wiki.... I'm not fimilar with the editing protocols.

In relation to the DAW article under heading "Commerical"

To list a few select/popular software titles with less than complete descriptions seems to contribute to the bias and unprofessional nature of this section. My edits attempt to provide a collection of Wiki links to more complete resources of each software platform. To describe these softwares is not the intention of this article. It should be to provide unbiased information regarding DAW.

Sometimes less is more..... please consider my purpose and edits. http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Digital_audio_workstation&diff=205137950&oldid=205137756

Typos

Please note, I have reverted you here. "Highly publicised" was exactly what was meant, not "highly published". The -ised spelling does not need changing to the -ized spelling, either, as Coldplay are a British band. See WP:ENGVAR. George The Dragon ( talk) 16:10, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

New Article

Its good, but it needed reference cleanup. So, I took the liberty to do proper reference tags. If you don't know how to use them, might as well teach you. do <ref>[http://example.com]</ref> Then, at the bottom where it says references, just put {{reflist}}. Nothing 444 18:32, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of 5Boro

A tag has been placed on 5Boro requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{ hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. // Chris (complaints)(contribs) 19:43, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

It could use more refs and getting rid of red links by creating the article, or linking it to something relevant could probably get it GA. Basketball 110 Talk 21:52, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Again regarding that vandal fighting

I noticed your comment here. It's a completely understandable mistake. I suggest you get on those warns right away, as I wouldn't want to have to officially revoke that barnstar. It's not that hard to do (on days when vandalism is high, 100 warns can be made an hour), and it will be highly beneficial to Wikipedia. -- Shark face 217 23:12, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
