Enjoy the summer. Don't waste it on Wikipedia; it'll still be there in the winter! A Catz topic could start quite small: main article (including a section on history and a section on buildings), list of alumni (possibly split between society and college depending on numbers), list of masters and fellows. The tedious bit, as you may appreciate, is writing the articles on the notable alumni and getting reliable sources to show when they were at Catz (which is why having access to a college library would be useful, with (I assume) back-issues of college magazines etc). In case you didn't recall, National Basketball Association awards FT is currently in retention pending the result of the Walter A. Brown Trophy GAN. I don't think it is realistic for this to achieve the GA status anymore because there aren't enough info. (see the GAN for detail) I just want to see if the National Basketball Association awards FT would be affected if Walter A. I believe that you are familiar with the workings of the {{ FT number}} template (as you have the most recent edits to it). It currently seems to be returning the value 31 which seems way too few - I believe that it should be around 90 or so. Have you any idea how to fix it - it seems to count the number of members of various categories and I would have no idea where to look to try and fix the count. Please re-review: Gilbert and Sullivan has a section on every single one of their collaborations save Utopia, Limited and Grand Duke, a pair of minor works which, like mst summaries of Gilbert and Sullivan, are discussed together. You're asking for articles that are already in the nomination, if you had looked - which is very, very frustrating. And, yes, I'll admit the template gives way too much weight to Richard D'Oyly Carte and should be fixed, but, though he had a role, it's very, very minor compared to Gilbert and Sullivan themselves. With regards to the "FT credits" remark that I made, it was absolutely correct for you to consider that as a possible motivation. When I review other featured content I often see that as a motivation for certain editors, and I understand where you were coming from. I didn't mean my remark to be disparaging you and I didn't take offence at it. It is just not my motivation for this topic, we just have differing views on the presentation and future development of this topic which is fair enough. We all have our own influences. I know that we have three months to get new articles up to GA or FA to have a topic stay featured. I have confidence that this will be no problem, but the process still has to be started. I can try it, I've never set one up before though, and I also was not a major contributor so I wasn't sure if I was allowed. I'm also not sure that if problems did arise if I would be able to resolve them. My thoughts exactly, I asked the question because I regularly visit and I found that part of the system confusing. Well, "K" comes after "J", of course! More relevantly, I found a copy of the Centenary Register (1970) going cheaply, which lists biographical info for all wardens/tutors/fellows/lecturers/students up to 1970, which makes the alumni lists easier to complete. Perhaps, though, I should stick to small colleges, preferably founded in the last 50 years, with only a handful of notable people: that would make for an easier life! I do appreciate all the hard work you do around here, but today things went rather fast. Some random editor, who has never edited the article before, comes along and moved 'Ring Line' to 'T-baneringen', without discussion or notification of any kind (can't even bother to edit the article itself). He has a good point, but chose to do it the reckless way. Now I not only have 50 articles to dab, but have to clean up after your impatient move of the GT as well. Ring Line (Oslo) is fine for me, since there is also one in Copenhagen and Moscow. It is only a matter of time before it would have to be moved (due to probably renaming of the other two in the future, because of WP:ENGLISH), and since a choice has to be made on the spur, 'Ring Line (Oslo)' is fine. You know more about FTs (& possibly GTs) than anyone else I know & I wonder if you can help? A new bot (see User:JL-Bot/Project content which handles listing FAs, FLs, GAs DYKs etc for projects & I've got involved in the discussion about its set up at User talk:JLaTondre. I suggested adding FTs but the bot owner has some questions:

• FT: Category:Wikipedia featured topics might also be worth including?

I would need the specific category. That is a top-level category without the actual articles. There seem to be several possible ones in there and I don't know how they relate ( Category:Featured topics vs Category:Wikipedia fully featured topics). Let me know which one (or ones) and I'll add them.

I am sure that you are aware of WP:OMT by now with the four featured and good topics currently in existence for battleships and battlecruisers. We are closing in on completing the first larger chunk of the vessels with the completion of the last remaining German battlecruiser to GA/FA. They are all listed here, and we've put together a list article to tie them all together to take to FL to top an encompassing FT ( List of battlecruisers of Germany). The user responsible for all of these articles has put together a working idea of what the FT would look like here: User:Parsecboy/ISG. Those of us actively involved in this project would be appreciative if you could offer your advice as to the composition of this potential topic as well as the possibility of utilizing subtopics for the two classes involved (one already featured and one pending once the article reaches GA shortly). Actually, it may not be as simple as that either. If you can get the county lists up to FL, then you could use these as the lead, via bringing a supplementary nomination to swap the leads across. You'll have three months to do this from when the current leads get demoted from FL. Oh sorry, I think I've got confused. As for as I can now see, the "List of state highways in..." articles are for the chop, but the "List of county routes in..." articles are for keeping. Whereas the "List of highways in..." articles are going to have the state/US/Interstate bits merged off into the article for the actual county, leaving just the county information, and hence the article will be renamed "List of county routes in...". Is this right? I don't really understand the rationale behind the changes to the "List of highways in..." type articles because I think that the result of making those changes will be less useful for the reader, whilst not actually changing the number of articles on Wikipedia at all. And I'm not sure that the actual county articles should contain road information - some counties are very populous so there is already a lot to talk about. On another note, I plan to renominate my M-28 GTC once this is complete. The core reason given for opposing that topic was that of the 4 constituent articles, 2 were geographically contained in Marquette County, and the M-28 article was also included in the Marquette County FT. The consensus among USRD members is running very much against county-based lists and topics, rst20xx, but for topics based on a single highway and its subarticles, or related highways. Since the now-unpopular county list is being FLRC-ed based on project consensus, its content merged into the county article, which won't be a FA any time soon, that means the FT will not exist to sink the M-28 topic on another nomination. Most topics are not going to grow, but certain topics are quite susceptible to growing; those that are I list here when I promote them. I then try to periodically check the topics in this list for new articles. As the nominator originally, the problem is project standards and I can't backend my project for these topics. As a bonus, I am the only one who cares about them, so they're not at fault for anything they do to mine. Trust me, I've wanted to make these three an FA for some time. As the top of my talk says, I just got my first FA since State Route 74 (New York – Vermont) in January 2009 the other day, I've been on a long FA drought and that doesn't help. Hey rst20xx. You left some comments at the South Park (season 1) FT about its need for a season navbox. I was wondering what you thought of Flash's suggestion about a template box at the bottom of the page instead? As he correctly points out, the WikiProject South Park came to a consensus in the past against including the whole season in their infoboxes because it sort of bogged the infobox down (although an option to expand and hide it might remedy that problem). Btw... I was looking at the Template:Featured topic box and was wondering if it could be tweaked to allow 3 different versions:

1. Featured topics (maybe with a star-filled gold border or gold coloring within the box)
2. Good topics (like it is now)
3. regular topics like mine (maybe use gray colors within the box)

Things like this have been done before using the number of articles in various categories associated with topics but this requires expensive parser calls to do, and the WP:FT and WP:GT pages are overloaded with expensive parser calls now. I think you have a misconception about how books works. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the version I'm giving, and it's in fact much to the old version. I have reverted your redirects of Book:Derfflinger class battlecruisers and Book:Moltke class battlecruisers because they are still valid books even without a corresponding FT. I brought up your concerns with the SE wikiproject, and the thought that came up (and if I remember right was noted when the articles were first created) is that, if you consider lead article, "Final Fantasy 12", as level one of the FF12 topic, and the other articles in the topic as level 2, Vaan and Balthier would be level 3, and thus not needed in the main topic. They would instead be included in the "Characters of FF12" topic, whose lead would be Chars of FF12 and whose sub-articles would be the individual characters. This is similar to how the "Han Dynasty" topic includes the level 2 article "List of Han emperors", but not the level 3 articles of the emperors themselves. As there are 2 individual character articles, the "characters of FF12" topic is eligible for topic status in its own right, and so it isn't mandatory for it to be rolled up into the parent "FF12" topic- though it certainly could be if desired.
