Hi there! I saw your comment about the help page for Wikipedia. I imagine the reason for there not being a single printable help page is due to the shear size of it! There is this help page: Help:Contents, which is a good starting point. if you're talking about the syntax of Wikipedia, there is this Wikipedia:How to edit a page. Hope the links help. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help. All the best. - Akamad ( talk) 02:11, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Very fancy userpage! One suggestion I can make though. You know the pictures you have on the bottom of the page (with links to your talk page, sandbox, etc.). It is possible to link the images to the articles you want, such that when you click on the image, you go to the article's page as opposed to the image page. I've seen it done in two different ways:
But really, that's only a minor thing. Other than that, like I said, it's a very fancy looking userpage! Well done!(Oh, and cheers for the barnstar!) - Akamad ( talk) 08:03, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your note and for taking the time to nominate the two images for The Arctic Portal. As the portal has been lacking new content for a short while, I added both images and commented at the nomination page. The Arctic Hare is closer to encylopaedic type quality than the other, however. The other image of the Peary Caribou is about a unique reindeer which may not be around much longer especially in this era of climate change. If there is a better image taken of the caribou it should be swapped out however. Kind Regards. SriMesh | talk 01:12, 31 January 2009 (UTC) has smiled at you! I've reviewed the article, and I'm sad to say that I had to fail it. I've left comments on the article talk page. My most pressing recommendation is that you should seek input from the Guild of Copy Editors. The sources themselves contain some wonky English so it's better to rely on some grammar and style experts rather than non-native speakers. I've also identified several potential omissions. I hope you'll be able to improve the article further. :) - Mgm| (talk) 09:48, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Hiya man! I obviously (and the rest of us) appreciate your creation and work on Seamounts. It's created recently (and that's cool!) But didn't know if you might like some help in improving it a tad? I have a very simple rule: I don't tread on other peoples projects; It's a complete respect thing! But I am very good at what I do, and I have an excellent track record! I also have a vested interest in Seamonts presentation for the Cape Verde Project (mine et al). I genuinely hope you'll allow me to assist you in your endeavours on this Project.

Milhist has not embraced those for some reason, so you'd have to create your own in a user space and move from there. As a side note, the Iowa class work group isn't actually closed, its just less active now that the core articles are united under one FT. TomStar81 ( Talk) 02:10, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Please see Template_talk:Did_you_know#Richard_C._Mangrum. [3] I am a bit disappointed that, perhaps due to your comments that the article was too short, it did not make it to DYK. You indicated that it was 662 characters and that it needed more to reach 1500 "lines of text". Perhaps it was my mistake in the comment that said "199 characters", by which I meant the hook was 199 characters, not the article. However, as you reviewed the article, it is clear that you found it to be more than 199 characters.
The DYK criterion for length is "minimum of 1,500 characters of prose" - that is characters, not words, not lines. The article has been is well over 3000 characters. Your number of 662 refers to words. (Wiki indicates 1800 words, when you remove tables, lists, etc, it is in the range of your assessment.) — ERcheck ( talk) 15:13, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

I think I'm ready to start. I'll go around an do a copyedit of Loihi. Ceran llama chat post 21:18, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
As you requested here I did some copy edits of your work at the Asinaria article. The first half reads well and needed only minor tweaking. The second half reads like someone worked too late into the night, since there are contradictory or repetitive statements and less clarity overall. I can't correct these without doing the source reading. I've tagged the sentences/paras that need attention. If you can clarify these I'd be happy to come back & do the copy-edits! -- Whoosit ( talk) 15:18, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading File:Loihi bot.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Radiant chains ( talk) 10:36, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
While I may make the occasional contribution to the article, I have for the most part moved on to other interests over the past few years. If you do attempt to take this article to FA then I should warn you the issue that finally sunk the last attempt was attempting to track down "production and sales" information for rum. While you should expect a request for this information during any FAC review, tracking down published information may not be possible. The issue is that Bacardi, the world's largest rum producer, is a privately held company that does not release sales or production data. Without this information it is unlikely that the article will be promoted to FA status. -- Allen3 talk 13:28, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Hi I've found this article and considering this it makes up most of the world other than the atmosphere the article is very poor. I wondered whether there might be something that you could add to it due to your expertise in seamounts. Thanks Smartse ( talk) 23:16, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, decided to have a go myself! I like yours as well-very nice. dottydotdot ( talk) 19:45, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
