Mythbusters

I'm unsure what you're asking. The only point that you added which I recently deleted was that a common theme is dunking people in goo. I saw no basis for this point in that I can't even recall even a single instance of this (I'm sure perhaps there is one or two, but it certainly pails in comparisson to other common themes on the show, such as gun myths, mocking jamie, adam's t-shirts, and other non-encyclopedic trivia.

It sounds like you edited logged out as an anonymous user.

There is simply no reason for an example "they avoid harming animals" is 100% clear to any reader and does not need an example. I also don't recall the details of the episode specifically, but I don't believe they had anyone from PETA on set, or called PETA for permission to do anything. calling it peta-approved is therefore personal opinion; either way the example is not necessary as already mentioned. I hope this is clear. The reason the roach example is notable is because it was one case where they broke their policies. TheHYPO ( talk) 18:34, 19 July 2008 (UTC) reply

Perlshaper and Indian Maps

It seems a bit of a waste to convert the wonderful SVG maps that have already been made into shapefiles just so that you can change the colours. Why not just write a script to modify the colours on the SVG files directly? If you're working off data other than those, it's very likely that a shapefile dataset already exists that has suitably defined regions, which can be fed into the perlshaper script. gringer ( talk) 19:46, 30 May 2015 (UTC) reply
